@@chozenheart Lmao doing the capstone dungeon at 45 and being in tier 4 facing level 75 is quite challenging for sure. Plus I'm using an outdated ice shard build I don't typically play with others but I got quite a few who play. With my rogue poison build I was melting everything left and right. I challenged myself by beating the campaign on hardcore, then switch to normal cause my friends all gave up on hardcore.

@@rechelieu Sorry, it's a buff to the frozen orb enchant, it has a higher proc rate now, which for me makes it feel more viable as a source of vulnerable. But in all actuality this build kind of struggles with enchant, I put flame shield on not for need, but lack of other options. Maybe you could go for burning damage paragon board with frozen orb and firebolt enchants but it seems overkill, outside of bosses.

Yeah the nerf is overhanded as hell, but regardless it's all that's available currently. I'd like to see them rebuff the hp but keep the damage value of the mobs the same. Make it so it's possible to build defensive enough so you don't get one shot, while still making dps checks for packs relevant.

I think you can just swap those for 2 extra points on 5% vuln dmg around the Weakness rare node. So assuming the Tactician glyph is at 21, the whole vuln bonus provided by the glyph should be something around 56%, looks pretty sweet :) Thanks again my friend

I have two questions for you please. how come you haven't consumed any mana points 13:54 despite several blizzard casts and even after several seconds of the boss fight you haven't consumed any mana points!! 2nd question: I have exactly the same build, almost the same pieces of stuff, the only difference is that I'm level 83 but I didn't do half of your damage!!! it's very rare that I see 1M damage in my spells. There was a channeling shrine I had saved for the boss specifically, I grabbed it and ran to the boss arena as fast as I could. Channeling shrines make your spells free and cooldowns come back up faster. For question number two, there's a multitude of factors, are you stacking blizzards on targets? Are you making sure to cast your blizzards above 50 mana? Do you have good pieces of gear, like crit damage/vuln damage/a good barber/decent glacial aspect. All these multipliers come together to do the dirty numbers

Personally I haven't tried the ice shards enchant, except in season zero. The only thing I dislike is you need to 5/5 the ice shards, I really enjoy the extra point being somewhere like frost nova / flame shield or even mana shield.

@Idenlinelol my sorc is on eternal. I only had 1 point in the first two boxes of ice shard. The auto proc on frozen enemies is good. The only reason I mention it is because its a guaranteed use on frozen and it always hits. I can't tell what does more dmg but sometimes the frozen orbs slide right by enemies and dont explode

Probably firebolt or maybe even chain lightning, but leaning more to firebolt. The extra 9-12% damage from the new element could be good. Depending on your gear you might just need to put one or two blizzards down per pack and run right past them though regardless.

My reasoning behind shatter was I remembered packs being way tighter packed in this dungeon, when I saw the ghosts I realized shatter wouldn't be that amazing, and swapped back to avalanche, just a nice passive for free casts occasionally.

Plus plus if im not mistaken the stun will take away one of your chances to freeze. So say you go in with rainment, you'll only get one freeze to kill the pack, before they become unstoppable. But honestly since I was one shot this dungeon anyways it might of been the better option.

This is calling out sorcs? This is only a tier 70nm if compared to preseason dungeon nerf. Other classes could farm tier 70s pre season 1 in under 4 minutes with zero risk of death. And you barely cleared it using all your lives painstakingly slow. Pre dungeon nerf every single one of those arrows that hit you would have been overkill for you, even with a shield on. Glad they nerfed the dungeons so much to give the sorc a chance at beating them on super handicap.

I have a sneaking suspicion that when I am level 100 with a proper chest enchant (damage reduction from cc/vuln targets), and some damage reduction from paragon board, I might actually be able to tank a hit from elites. Sorry no suppressors showed up this run! I have killed them on 99s though, so they're not run killers. Teleporters are the fucked up mobs.

This is due to the barber wrathful heart, not so much sorc as any class can do this with that heart now.
