Finally I got the grandfather which provides more life and damage seems to be much better! The video was recorded this from wave 2.

I have a question. Does grasping vein aspect work with minions do they only get critical chance or do they critical damage too?

They will get crit chance but not crit damage.

btw now I masterwork maximum life on grandfather to further increase my defense

I think doom bringer ans grandfather will be good in season 6 or anything that add hp cause they changing the red gems to strength so no more added Hp :(

Not having enough defense is a big problem for minion necro. If you go Tyrael's might, you are giving up potentially +7 golem mastery which is a massive dps loss. This is the main reason that many people choose to drop golem and go full skeleton mages. If you go bone storm with shielding storm aspect, you are dropping arm of the dead which is again a huge dps loss. Hope this problem will be fixed in season 6. As far as I know, Blizzard will include a new passive skill for necro that generate barrier through lucky hit.

You have to play very carefully and yes I’m using grandfather. Using elixir that increases 20% maximum life helps. You can also try Temerity to further increase your defense.

Activating golem also heals you and sometimes this can save you.
