Honestly, this is one of the best builds this season in terms of fun and power. I love how Chain Lightning chase's down enemies and explodes poison bombs everywhere, and it's interaction with Andariel's Visage and life on hit (finally, a use for that useless stat!) It's also great that it works in long range and close range combat, it's very unique.

I’m a primarily solo player as well but I highly recommend running groups for tormented bosses because it makes it SO much easier. I joined the Maxroll discord and got a group in about 10 minutes. Even with non optimized builds they go down pretty quick (all of us were only clearing tier 5-6 on infernal hordes) you just have to pay attention to the mechanics and where you need to dodge to avoid getting the tormented debuff.

You don't need a Starless Sky ring. Andariel procs healing fast enough for the Starlight power. Also you can use Doombringer and an off hand for absolute immortality. You can also use hydra enchantment with Winterglass to proc frost orbs and also burning.

@@Malam_13 because the unique effect is practically useless for this build. Starlight+ attack speed + life per hit combo entirely solves your resource issue. - You can move points from warmth if you have +900 LPH. -You can get flat stats on regular ring (also much easier to get GA, mostly main stat)+ beneficial legendary power+ masterworking. I'm using Doombringer that gives me massive HP boost and DR which allow me to grab more offensive passives from the paragon board and skill tree.

I actually was able to get these 2 uber uniques (first time I've ever had one) and it's a HUGE upgrade from fireball it feels like. I can do tormented bosses without feeling worried I'll die and tier 6 without dying as long as I move around enough. Very cool build!

i was lucky enough to get an early axial and an extremely lucky andarial drop at like lvl 75 from a non torment boss while leveling my 1st sorc, shit skyrocketed me LMAO what a fun build to start the season with

I got my Andy's yesterday and holy crap this build is really strong and fun to play. I can destroy Tormented bosses in a minute or 2, well except for Lilith, she still kicks my butt. Trying for a Tyreals now.

​@@Dad_of_War I think you're underestimating how strong LS is this season. Tormented bosses take me 1-3 second. Tormented Lilith only takes me longer because I have to wait for P2 to start. Then she shows up and almost immediately dies.

The issue I had with Chain Lightning Sorc was Mana. I never managed to find a Recharging aspect above level 1. I've been playing Fireball since, am at level 100 and have half my glyphs at 21, and I'm STILL at Recharging Level 1.

This was my main problem for a while too, but what really makes the build work is Starlight Aspect on amulet in combination with the life on hit from Andariels - Pre-Andariels, chain lightning is a mana mess

​@@stockbull614Yeah, this is Diablo, and in the Diablo workd of Sanctuary it would make 0 sense for a holy warrior of any kind with heaven abandoned and angels gettin' got, but we will arrive at the point where the re-introduction of that class archetype. You'll probably get a whole season or even future expansion wholly centered around the newest iteration of our delightful Diablo Doo-Gooder. The Howezar zone & its npcs practically shout spoilers at you if you read between the lines a bit.

Hey Wudi, is there a bug with bosses and elites? Both in Hordes and Pit their life keeps refilling when I attack them with my Andariel rogue

I believe it’s a visual bug, it’ll go from showing the DOT is on them back to looking normal. But they are still poisoned.

@@evanschjolin829 that’s what I thought too at the beginning but they are staying alive for much longer. I noticed it happens when I’m close to them as well. For example in hordes if I go to another edge they will die normally, if I stay close they stay alive for too long

That damage scales with your multipliers, the same way visage poison nova scales.

It's the special ability from Tyrael's Chest Armor. If you got it and lost it, you took a Shrine that gives the same effect for a bit.

Bro, chain lightning ench has about 4 second cooldown. I play only sorc and only chain lightning and this is the build I'm using(although came to it on my own), so it's a source of great pain to me that they nerfed this enchantment. If they didn't CL build would be much stronger.

i have one question - how did u get Vulnerable on someting? i tryd this build (Mytic Version) and ther is no dmg shown wenn u only show dmg to Vulnerabel enemys.. only way is Ice Blades but there are way less Iceblads to make someting Vulnerable ... can u plz explain that to me? @@helioselexandros yes, u are right .. i did read something wrong.. if u aktivate in the options "vulnerable" it only shows the effect vulnerable ore not - not the dmg u deal to vulnerable enemys - so if u only aktivate that one option there are no dmgnubers on the screen.. so i think they are not vulnerable.. but they are - so everything is ok :)

The Maxroll's starter version is unusable, with ridiculous damages even with all starter aspects. Going back to Firewall to level 50+.

I played with their leveling guide up until I had somewhat decent gear to switch. To be honest it was probably somewhere around lvl 55-60. But I got lucky that I got the Conduit pants literally as my first item pretty early and it was deal-breaker. After that I switched to endgame build and been rocking with that.

No, healing triggers the mana gain. It does not need to be a net healing.

Chain lighting is weak as hell leveling, painful to drag into T3, it doesn't come to life until you find axial conduit pants. Then you can finally start to have fun with it an take it into T4

I recommend playing with the leveling build up until Conduit drops. I did the same because with their starter build I wouldnt be able to do that ever. Also I found that tempering affixes to Hydras and also legendary aspects helped greatly with the waiting to switch from leveling to end game build.

Ohne Tyraels gehts nur bis Pit 65, und statt Eisklingen habe ich Eissplitter drin mit Verwundbarkeit auf den Handschuhen, Vorteil: der Effekt verteilt sich so auf viele kleinere Mobs rasend schnell, da Eissplitter immer von gefrorenen Gegnern abprallt, Schockfrost 14/3 98% Frost on hit. Gibt s einen cap für die Angriffsgeschwindikeit ? Bin bei 2,14 As. Eissplitter auf den Boss procct instant Verwundbarkeit, Kettenblitz nur 3-5 Ladungen zum Unterschtüzen.

Ice Blades is mainly there to give a cold attack to get more damage from tal rasha's ring. For vulnerability it uses the Legendary node Static Surge, which constantly gets triggered.

@@Urrarg cold i have passive on each lightning and fire over time too, the paragon node i have also, but it triggers after 100 mana or with the starless sky ring after the 5th attack, so its not constant on each enemy. By iceshards i can target an enemy and shoot nonstop on it while same time casting chain lightning. Works great against larger enemys such as elites or Bosses.

@@HeOlenParas But you only need to use 100 mana every 2 seconds to keep vulnerability constantly applied. And Chain lightning builds use a lot more mana than that in 2 seconds.

@@Urrarg true but out of all enemys it wont hit the elite champion only, so it has breaks on vulnurability and so its a 50% 50% chance wheater you hit the elite monster or not. Ice shards hit only 1 enemy, - the one you are aiming at. Rank1/5 and they melt down.

I'm using doombringer and I'm immortal in all content and still destroy tormented bosses in less than 10 seconds so it's definitely decent. T8 hordes take too long though so its less damage than a staff
