It does kind of look like crap on a technical level compared to D2R and D4 - the models look like earlier World of Warcraft models while the other games look like modern models with modern materials/rigging etc. - of course there are always going to be compromises vs. contemporary titles with ARPGs due to the need to render hordes of enemies and effects at decent framerates. Something has to give.

When I think about Diablo (Diablo meaning Devil) I expect it to be dark, ugly and gritty. D3 was... different, I enjoyed my time with it but hate the look design. Like the other guy said, looked like early WoW.

I bought prime evil which includes d2 res and d3 with all expansions for mere 20 euros. Installed both, played D3 for a while, then switched to ressurected, never looked back. :D

I like Diablo 4, but it feels like an unfinished game.. Diablo 2 RE looks much more refined and it's a 20+ year old game.. (redoing the textures doesn't turn it into a brand new one)

3 is some ugly ass Diet Diablo by the way of World of Warcraft. Seeing 2 and 4 side by side really brings into focus how much they dropped the ball. They went from Heavy Metal to Folk.

I think Diablo 4 looks great. It is next to impossible to translate what it looks like in a video. On my PS5 the lighting, the environments, and even the characters and enemies look so good compared to D2 remaster. I don’t know why people are saying this at all. Maybe they haven’t played it and are just going by videos online. Because I can’t lie I was really worried about the graphics before I played it for myself.

I played d2, d3 and playing d4 right now (about 200h) and I can say that Diablo 4 is literally the best game ever created, but still very close to the D2. I’m comparing it to how much fun I had playing every version and I enjoyed the most playing D4. When D4 released, at the beginning it was not so good, that’s true, but now, after this 2-3 years, the game is just great and gameplay is just perfect (for me)

@@somenerd510 Anyone who dares to say that D2 is better because the nostalgia can't be a fan at all. D2 is superior basically because everything in it it's almost perfect. Even if you say D4 is superior in Graphics, D2 is still the best Diablo game. D4 Graphics and combat are good but that's it. D2 (an almost 24 years old game) is sadly the best Diablo game ever created. Sadly because i was hoping D4 to be something else. Its story sucks, it's full of woke agenda BS. It feels like they didn't even finished the damn thing in order to keep making more money from it.

Also, this video kinda shows the ugliest, most bland looking locations for D3, there are some pretty amazing looking places in Act V and the rifts. And the buildings in Act II are sometimes photorealistic. Character textures and lighting are utter crap, though, I can't deny that.

@FounderX9 TVs and monitors are basically the same now in terms of image quality, in fact TVs are usually better unless you're typing a word document than the monitor might be slightly better if your TV doesn't have a "PC" mode. I don't care about gaming at 240hz, 120hz to 144hz is perfectly fine. A monitor doesn't give you the scale and presence that a big 65 inch+ TV can give you. Do you actually think gaming on a 27 inch OLED monitor is actually superior to gaming on a 65 inch OLED TV?

If you have an actually play, then, the camera is really not far away at all, and there’s a very cool way to zoom in really close and you get to walk around like that. The details are incredible. The sound design is absolutely stunning and all of the characters in the world Zan lighting look so good. Everything is interact with a ball in the environment.

Diablo était très sombre et extra, le 2 était le meilleur car pour monter lvlmax fallait jouer et jouer, dans le 3 le parangon rendait ça plus ou moins interminable, mais dans le 4 je m amuse pas du tout, le lord a super bien evolué mais y a vraiment que ça, tout le reste c est pour appâter les clients, j ai pété le jeu en 7j de jeu et la saison butin redinamisé ma juste équeuré, on a des tonnes de stuff mais rien de ouf, le panneau de compétence est a chier, l échos de Lilith sert qu a rallonger la durée de vie en faisant passer tous les autres processus du jeu comme enfantins, t apprend que métoo a coupé les couille du jeu parce qu elle voulais pas voir une démon faire se pour quoi elle est. Je sais pas où ça va, j adore la licence, juste dégoûté de sentir que l argent mène autant Blizzard vers un gouffre sans fond. Un conseil, baisse le gain d'XP sur les vagues infernal parce que j avais pas fait le tour que ma Soso était lvl100. Se jeu va se faire détrôner par des freetoplay si il réagis pas. Imortal j ai même pas cherché a l ouvrir car toutes les apps Android sont faite pour vendre quelque-chose, puis voilà Blizzard a jamais bosser reelement dessus

Playing diablo series for two decades +and trust me.. Diablo4 as it stands now is the worst Diablo game in series. They mess it up big time. Diablo 4 (s5atm) party gaming is dead, non existent end game, no ultimate goal, rinse and repeat pits forever to gather maths, in general the goal is to gather maths instead of reaching the highest boss and hey.. guess what.. there is no final boss. Exping is a joke, hell tides all day. You can pretty much just stand there do nothing and it kills the whole fun. Drop is pathetic meaning in 1 week you run around in full op gear, shakos doombringers and what not and then....nothing... gets boring super fast. The legendary aspect is a complete utter dog sh...mechanics that kills the drop vibe. White, yellow and legendary items are scrap only. Just dumbed down everything.. pathetic, but in the same time items special effect are so messed up that you don't know what is what and all you have to do is to trust the maxroll. This is a complete fail. Paragon system... same, copy paste. DOG SH.. !! and it looks sad, boring and pathetic. Dont even het me started with the UI. Sad squares with no love given. Just horrible. Just have a look at Poe 2 inventory style or even Diablo 2. No adventure, no sense of accomplishment. Open world sucks big time. Worst idea ever. Loot system as a whole is dog sh.. legendary items drop left and right, same uniques. Loot drop is way to high. No excitement when they drop. Scrap all for mats When uber unique drop, no excitement cuz it doesn't have greater affixes so its a scrap. Mastering system is a ok but still lottery style kills the whole vibe. Half of original diablo lore content is missing and that is after Ive spend £140 for this beta test game. All the rest is hidden behind pay wall. Its going to be another £140 till we see Diablo in 4 years from now. Now... Balancing builds.. This one kills the game for me to the point of no return. Ive uninstalled this alpha dog sh.. today. Each season they nerf and buff specific chars and when one season the build is ok, next season is unplayable. I love thorns barb and I want to play it. Guess what. I can't play season 5 as thorns barb because they nerf it so much that even with op gear I cant kill the pit boss and go further than pit100 ladder or nonladder. Doesn't matter. Non ladder is dead too because of this never ending buffs and nerfs. At the same time they buff ww and bash x4 so if you want to progress in the game you HAVE TO play as ww or bash. Thanks for ruining the game for me blizzard. If that is not enough they buff soso x10. Logic Imo they have no idea about mathematics or they doing this in purpose for some reason but the only reason I see is to piss people off. Again.. while graphics are on point, sound is great, combat feels good there is nothing to do in this game and it starts to feel boring very fast. Diablo 4 feels empty and again.. very boring. Its open world but all you do is the same 4 or 5 short dungeons x1000 forever. DIablo 3 was way better then Diablo 4 and to compare Diablo 4 vs DIablo 2.. Diablo 2 wins in every way. There is hope. Poe 2 is coming out soon, probably this year November and it looks awesome. Diablo 4 needs to be upgraded from beta test to full game for me to even consider to play it ever again so not earlier than 3 years from now. What a joke. That is including Diablo boss, balanced characters, the whole package. Otherwise this game doesn't exist and if blizz going to ask 1 more friken dollar they can f off.
