I was shocked when I read that, because in my memories of S24 it wasn't possible. So I tested. And not only I found out it was indeed possible to reforge them now, but someone else in the chat channel even rolled a Primal Ethereal Buriza... XD Oh well, now I know where I'll spend my Reforge rolls first lmao XD ^^

Necro Ethereal Fun: one of the ethrreal powers inherent in the weapon sounds quite useless. Fear in place for 7 seconds when you curse an enemy. Well. I was using frailty aura to proc my krysbin's sentence. It also procs the ethereal fear+freeze. This gave me 7 seconds on any monsters in a big radius around the necro. As I was using bloodtide blade and siphon blood... This meant i could really push high GRs. And on an ethereal i was going to pass off as lame...

primal drop was hunters belt and did cubed it, until I realised that I should have gotten the primordial ash from from it. my second ethereal burisa drop has echoing fury and single one out. which is just great for speeds. shield from Molten Wilderbeest Gizazrd and altar shield when health globes are picked up. The raw power of Ethereals is just incredible.

Yup. First primal wasa Templar relic, and not even the good one, it was the one that gives you all skills. But it took me so long to get another legendary relic I couldn't even salvage it for the material.

Easiest way I know to get the relic you need fast is to craft rare ones and then upgrade them at the cube; with only three options, it shouldn’t take many tries!

Okay i am on PS4 i tried the upgrade ethereal with ashes and yeah it turned into the pink shade primal But it changed the legendary power from valtheks rebuke to some other frozen orb power... I was a little pithed! Mind you this was on PS4 console anyone else experienced this? Thank you very much for the vid though ✌️ Cheers

My Prime Soul O was a Focus ring. And, 2 more primals since. I'm going to salvage my 2 primal bracers: Krelm's and Lacuni. Well. I've crafted the primal ethereal. On the blackbog's sharp. Not noticing it being better than the regular ethereal. I'm thinking reforging legendary is the way to go. So many mats from the other mechanic enmities.

Casual player here. GR70 drop for my DH was a Darklight flail. So a Valor/Pony Soldier crusader build is in my near future as a second character. I had an Ethereal at level 18, reclaimed it for a bunch of DBs. Haven't seen one since and I'm P300+, leveling up gems at GR75. RNG is not playing ball but I guess it's just a matter of time. I wonder what I will get first, a Rama's or an Ethereal?

This is a really strange mechanic since it wasn't possible to get primal etherals in season 24. Would be interesting to see what you get if you salvage them. Not saying you should do this now for a video. :D

my question is, if you reforge the made primal would you lose the primal and it will turn ancient or regular leg? or the primal status stays? cause so far getting the right power on your ethereal is a pain in the ass with the amount of times you gotta reforge it, so once you get it its not worth it to primal it to lose the power, so primal it first and the reforge it afterwards to get the desire power if the primal factor doesn't go away by reforging it.

Problem is you gotta get primals to drop period in order to get the ashes. I got 2 primals total to drop and I had to salvage one to get ashes for the altar and I'm wearing the other one. This is not a viable thing to do for most players. I can farm GR 105 easily and just never get primals.

Am I missing something or is there something else need to do for an Altar to show? I have seen a primal ancient ethereal roll. So it can happen - both are rare, so the odds of both together are something like rolling two 100-sided dice and getting 100 on both. But 1 in 10K is not *that* rare, since several hundred thousand weapons drop across the Americas each day.

Yes, when you strafe, you shoot out Hungering Arrow, therefore HA pierce more.

Require more farm but, cheaper to salvage primal u didnt like and and try on new item. U'll get 50% material back, dont know how it work with eternals as they was giving back aome gems or keys before when they was first relesed.

I havent played in a long time and didnt play the ethereal season last time round and havent yet played it this time, moving house in a week and after that I'll get stuck in, but I'm gonna take a wild guess now and say that given the altar and visions are now permanent in all seasons going forward (it was visions was the 2nd thing I think?), I'm gonna say you make it primal using recipe 11.

way better to craft a primal in another slot (squirts etc) so you can wear an ethereal + crafted primal together and not only 1 crafted primal ethereal too risky to get the correct power from upgrading a ethereal to a primal

Remember everyone, DO NOT re-roll an item you've primalized with recipe 11. Salvage it and primalize another copy. That way you get 55 Primordial Ashes back instead of just spending 100 Ashes each attempt.

I just don’t see the value. It’s better to separate it. And ethereal “native” and crafted primal on another item. It’s only a 12% upgrade because your off hand is dog shit. Effectively it’s what 5% more dmg. When you have the other items in BiS rolls.

Friday was a D3 marathon. Asia. Europe. NA. 2 accounts. 6 challenge rifts. Blizz paid attention and provided replacement CRs that were easy. 👍👍 I was so tired by 4pm local time i took a nap. Missed the NA start by an hour and a half... 2 Necros in Asia. One at 70. The other juat having the cube. 2 monks in Europe. Similar levels. But I claimed the Haedrig's gift on a WD in the second one. Leveled to 70. Day 2. Where will i play? Progression to 70? Or pushing an account to Prime Soul O? That is my normal finish line... But maybe on one of them I'll push as far as i can go.
