@@kevinfunk83 they are not entirely useless, magic unlike other forces of nature are active while time is stopped (probably, because magicules are used to mimic the natural laws not create something equally with the same properties) BUT that barrier can still shatter during time stop and then you no longer have a barrier that protects you only reason they survived was because Michael was leaning to use time stop on the fly and could only stop time for a few moments later in the fight with Chole and Rimuru he could use it better and was able to halt time longer

Michael is insane if he were ever had a master like Rimaru he would have no limit. He was so strong even without anyone to challenge him he was even with Diablo over 100 or 1000 battles despite Diablo learning direct counters to fight him. The only reason he lost was he messed with his psyche so he would not have a will to fight. Another thing is him and Diablo are friends if u didn't know they respect each other a lot.
