With the lore that Diablo have, it could be made into good movies. The whole story arc of Lilith and Inarius founded Sanctuary, and eventually the downfall of them both, are able to be made into atleast a trilogy.

If you want me to be completely accurate, the D2 cinematics are fully remade in 4k, the D3 cinematics are upscaled from 1k to 4k, and the Immortal and D4 were originally made in 4k too so upscaling was not required. I love how they retconned the story of 1 and 2 just to make Diablo 3/Immortal and 4. The main character in Diablo 1 was not related to Leoric. The main character in Diablo 1 did not have a daughter with the witch. The main character in Diablo 2 "destroyed" the souls of Diablo and his brothers. The worldstone in Diablo 2 was destroyed and forever altered, meaning humanity and the human-universe was forever changed and altered. Diablo 3 said fuck all that, Diablo exists because the main character in D1 got some sweet pussy after being Leoric's son. Also Leoric is back again, though he died and was fucked into oblivion in D1. Also fuck all the other lore, we want space lol cows and hur hur stream line. The movies do be good, but the game is shit.

There was NOTHING tying the main hero to Leoric, there was NO REASON for the Butcher and Leoric to return in D3 and there is ZERO ability for Diablo to have existed because he HAS NO SOUL... HIS SOUL IS FUCKING "GONE".

I prefer the original Baal intro scene tbh. The guy seemed more scared and Baals powers looked more nuanced and easy, like he didn’t need a real attack to dispose of that guard. He looks more intimidating but I just like the orginal design for the type of attitude he had.
