The epic title menu music from Diablo II Lord of Destruction. (the last thing blizzard did right)
I found it on here but it wasn't complete, its actually 2 separate files within the D2XMUSIC file, so I combined them and made this, because the shortened versions I found just weren't complete, and didn't have my favourite part, at 4:35.

Mine from 2007-2011 and 2014-2018 (started playing it again after taking a break for a few years to play Diablo 3) I was in 2nd grade when I started playing and sucked bad at first. I didn’t really know what the attributes and shit were supposed to mean until I got older. My first character was the barbarian followed by the necro. I am 23 years old now and have practically perfected those builds multiple times over, took a break after graduating high school and now am playing D2 resurrected. I still much prefer Diablo 2 over 3 & 4.

God.. this music. So many memories, good bad and otherwise. This game raised me. I learned to type because of Diablo 2. I learned economics from Diablo 2. I learned Portuguese from Diablo 2. I learned to program because of Diablo 2. Everything I know.. is because of this game.

I feel so nostalgic, when I was a kid my mother used to play Dungeon Siege and Diablo 2 from time to time and I would enjoy watching her play when I couldn't get sleep. Then I turned 10 and would borrow the PC and play myself, I was basically raised to play these types of games 🙂

Everytime I hear this music it brings me back to my childhood, D2 got me into reading, D2 opened up my imagination, D2 inspired me. 20 years after I first touched it I can't explain how happy I am to come back to it with D2R. It's like walking back into my childhood all over again.

@Pakken11 in early patches, up to 1.06 I think, you had reasonable odds of gambling them. That doesn't mean to say that 99.9999% of SOJs on the Realms weren't dupes, but it does mean that a pre-expansion account with a bunch of high level characters, all equipped with SOJs, may well be legit.

Came back for the feels. I miss the gang. I used to think about this game all day in school and play it all night when I got home. Stay up late in some random OP messing around with a trivia bot. Dueling friends with totally nonsense builds. Clean playthroughs with clan mates. MFing even though we knew we wouldn't get crap because our gear was lame. I made some of my best friends on Diablo 2, some I even still talk to today. We moved on to other games as a group, then moved on in life. Got jobs. Had kids. Went to college. I used to think my friend's dad was cool because he played Diablo 2 with us sometimes and had epic gear. Guess that's me now. Life is so complicated now. I yearn for the days when my biggest concern was making cow portals for all my clannies. Wish I could go back, even just for a bit, and enjoy it all again. Thanks Blizzard North.

@@triviumrull you should first thank Wagner, because the expansion (act V) music is heavily inspired in his operas. Just go to worldstone keep, listen to the background music for a while and after that, listen to Tristan und Isolde prelude from Wagner. You will get it almost inmediatly.

This was the first game i ever played! :D My first char was a druid. I did not know, how to name him so i smashed my hand on the keyboard! Jighlok is still my main character! :D

ME TOO!! My Dad was the one who got me into it. My first character was a Druid as well but FOR THE LIFE OF ME I could not beat Diablo on the first difficulty, so I switched to Assassin and beat everything up to the Second Act on Hell difficulty(I was even able to beat Bael before my father, which definitely played a part in my competitive streak) and I only stopped when my parents bought me a Wii. This game basically made me who I am today. One of my first memories is ignoring my some of our relatives for so long they left before I got off and I got into SO much trouble.

I can remember the times when the soulstone had to be destroyed and my tormenting challenges had to be bypassed. In the end, it was a well fought and dramatic experience that made this game memorable as it is to this day. This was the last Diablo game in my opinion.

Apparently legacy mode is a thing. If they fuck it up ill be playing a glorified port happy as fuck.
