Diablo IV Collector's Edition *REAL* Unboxing in English

Hello, i think it is possible to buy wall pictures and artbook seperately, that would be great addition to anyone´s living room or bedroom. However, i am quite disappointed with that candle, it does not make any light at all, it would be better if they added base for real candle.

It is a bit feeble. But mine is still boxed up. I liked the Diablo III limited edition more.

honestly instead of them making a plastic "candle" they should just have made the base out of metal and included a cheap real red candle because then it would actually have a function instead of being a dust collector/paper weight, and its so sad to see them move away from including the game...

I’ve always though the LED candles that actually flicker like real ones are brilliant. And they don’t burn down your house of you knock them over or forget to blow them out… Note that rechargeable batteries have a slightly lower voltage than non-rechargeable so the light might not be as bright. One day I test that. 😂 Also, with multiple game formats making a set with the game included is a gamble. So they made a set that anyone can buy - regardless of PC, XBox, PS5, etc. I’d guess that in the future only exclusive titles will get the game included in collector’s editions.

Personally I thought this collector's edition was garbage and would rate it as F tier... Diablo 3's collector's edition gave us more than you even mentioned. We got: - Diablo 3 - Diablo 2 - Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction - A custom flash drive in the shape of a soul stone - A Diablo skull to store the soul stone flash drive in - Exclusive in-game wings - Exclusive in-game artifact weapon skins for every class in the game - Two Exclusive in-game unlimited use dyes - Exclusive World of Warcraft Fetish Shaman Pet - Exclusive StarCraft II portrait pack - Making of DVD - Art Book - Sound Track Diablo 4's collector's edition gave us: - 2 framed art prints - Art Book - Horadric Pin - Cloth Map - Mousepad - Candle All while being more expensive and including 0 games as opposed to 3... The candle looks cool but is so dim that I don't even know why they bothered with making it light up. And maybe my map is just misprinted, but it is BY FAR the worst quality map Blizzard has ever included in any of my collector's editions. When I pulled that out I actually started laughing and turned to my friend and joked that it looks like some cheap Chinese knockoff scam product from e-Bay. Even if you double the price and get the most expensive digital version of the game it still doesn't come with as much stuff as their previous collector's edition came with despite being more than 2x the cost. I own every collector's edition that Blizzard has ever released (except for Diablo 2) but this was so bad that I'm thinking that this will be the last one. Honestly I only even got it because I own so many I figured I might as well keep up the collection but... it's getting REALLY hard to justify that now.

Great comment and thank you! I forgot D3CE came with D2... it was a so much better edition! I've never cared about cosmetics though... I remember Windows 95 and spending hours tweaking all the sounds and icons , etc only to revert them to default. It's pointless really... the D4 box contains a load of random fluff too... who's going to use the mouse mat? The size just looks like it came from a 1990's magazine subscription offer bundle or bagged up with a children's comic. And the map makes no sense - it would've been better if it was an *actual* tea towel rather than just looking like the kind of manky tea towel you find at the back of a cooker you're ripping out in the old house you've just bought. You can tell a lot by looking at eBay - when the D3 edition was released it sold out completely and eBay scalping prices were really high. I actually pre-ordered three and then sold two. Made enough profit to mean the copy I kept was effectively free. That's the one in the video. Not so much for the D4 box... even though they limited it to one per customer there's loads on eBay that aren't selling.

@@sterntechdaddy Yeah cosmetics don't really matter much to me either because there's no sense of accomplishment with them, but I did get a LOT of use out of those dyes. And the reason that the eBay boxes probably arn't selling is that it appears that Blizzard hasn't managed to sell their limited stock yet so it's hard to scalp when you can still buy from the source. But yeah, with the weak candle light, poor map quality, mediocre mouse pad, lack of game etc. it's not really a surprise it's not flying off the shelves. Not a lot of weird people like me that collect software boxes :P Speaking of sales... It's going to be really interesting to see how fast BlizzCon tickets sell this year. HotS eSports were gutted years ago, Hearthstone and StarCraft both had HUGE cuts to their esports this year, D3 is now officially over, Overwatch 2 canned their PVE campaign (which was the whole point of 2.0), Diablo 4 just released... They seem to be in a really poor place across the board with only WoW having a major expansion announcement coming up. So it really makes me wonder, why announce BlizzCon this year? And so last minute? I have to wonder if there's a new IP they want to unveil and figure BlizzCon would be the best avenue. Without that, it doesn't make sense to me.

Agreed. The collectors edition in the past was better and more fun than these new ones... and these new ones cost a lot more.
