Diablo Sorcerer Full Game Playthrough

The fate of the 3 characters in Diablo 1 was unexpected to me. All three of them became corrupted. The Sorcerer became the Summoner in D2, Rouge became Blood Raven in D2, and Warrior became the Dark Wanderer in D2.

it's a retconn tho. Info about sorcerer/rouge was revealed in 2011 in talks about d3. Nothing in d2 points to them being same people ( well aside from dark wanderer).

@@ChillGuySammy and the witch Adria had a daughter from Aidan, the dark wanderer from D2 and the warrior from D1. A good way to mess up the original lore, an old witch who dated a young warrior, sounds like Gilf pornography.

It is odd how they turn a black sorcerer into a tan sorcerer in D2. Unless Jazreth died and the tan figure is who Horazon would have been if he was alive. Always found that off when playing both games years ago.

Jokes aside, Considering you are entering the domain of succubi and archmages, the veil’s massive resistances are the more vital lifesavers. The light radius penalty can be cancelled by Griswold’s ring from his magic rock quest.

considering it normally takes me 5-6 hours to reach level 17 because i play slow use firewall to clear rooms and basically full clear every level., a 1 hour game win is cool af.

never found the veil of steel quest in this game as a kid...glad to finaly know who lachdanan is.i love d2 and d3 but this game will always be my favorite not just for being my first game in the series but also the fact that its such a big part of the series lore i cant imagine loving these games as much without having played d1 first

You need to have line of sight on it. Theres lots of walls you can shoot or cast through. Knowing how to take advantafe of these is a cheap way to kill the butcher and skeleton king when you cant tank their hits.

Oh I hate those little acid spitting creatures. I was playing as the warrior and I was making great progress until I ran into a large group of them. I had a hard time killing them because one of their shots would stun me in place which led me to getting wrecked every time. Also doesn't help that the acid stays on the ground for little bit to hurt you.

First of all thanks for the video, your wealth of experience of the game is extremely helpful. I've played it so little I didn't even know exactly how all the spells even worked. That being said, how are you making Adria reset her shop? I have studied the video at 1/4 speed to see exactly the movements and things you are doing and I cannot seem to reproduce it. I am playing on PC with an original Diablo CD that has a small patch added to stop the game crashing on Win10. Are you using a different version? Any help would be appreciated, many thanks in advance. **Also I wanted to give this video a like but it is at 666 and how can I change that? lmao**

My god, the all difference in play style between sorc and warrior is crazy. I only played warrior in this game, and I look at the side by side comparison and clear speed is nuts for this class. I wonder, is there a benefit to not having a weapon or does it just not matter?

since you won't use the weapon directly with the sorc, unless it has any resistence protection or mana/magic bonus, you don't need it and you can use the slot to get more items

@@savagesoul1983 if your playing hellfire and doing night mare and hell difficulty up to lvl 50 a lot of sorcs run wizardspike dagger and shield then you have two item slots for mods instead of one.

Hey Stu absolutely love your content! I have been looking everywhere online and can't find out some things so i guessed you may be the only one to help me! So i been playing diablo again for the first time in 20 years and having a blast. Have pretty much maxed out warrior and now wanna do the same with sorcerer, and i just don't know how to get chain lightning books or teleport. can you help please and also whats your best advise on farming gold? thanks

So the best way to get spell books is from Adria, and you need to have been to a specific dungeon level to unlock them at her. I think you're safe if you've been to the caves for chain lightning, and hell for teleport. To restock her just save next to her and reload, like in the video, until she carries the book you want. The best way to make gold is to just pick up any magic items you find and sell them. Cheers!

Eine Stunde für das gesamte Spiel - da bin ich ja meistens gerade mal mit der Crypt fertig... Sehr schön gemacht. Der Magier ist ja dann doch dezent OP, hab bislang nur Kämpfer und Bogenschützin(angetestet) gespielt. Diablo 1 läuft übrigens nur in 20fps, weil es wohl ursprünglich rundenbasiert werden sollte. Deshalb laufen die Gegner teilweise auch immer noch so ruckartig. Kommt auch noch ein Video über Hellfire?

Der Magier ist am besten gegen alle nicht vollständig magie-immunen Gegner (davon gibt es nur wenige). Er ist nur weniger einsteigerfreundlich, da man wissen muss welche spells gut sind und wie man sie bekommt. Ich werde den Character noch konvertieren und die Hellfire levels aufnehmen, das wird aber dank teleport ein kurzes video. :D

Ok, ich schätze mal, mit diesem HP-MP-Umwandlungsspruch, Blitzen und Feuerwand kriegt man wohl alles klein. Dieses Book-Grinden bei Adria scheint ja auch notwendig zu sein. Gut, kannst ja noch die Easter-Eggs in Hellfire einbauen, wie den Kuhtypen und die veränderte Rede von dem einen Boss. :P

Ive always played a melee class like warrior, monk, or barbarian. Im trying to explore and play as the magic classes. How do you switch between spells so quickly? is it as simple as hotkeys?

Might be a noob thing to ask but how are u recharging ur staff? I don’t remember being able to recharge a staff on the go. That’s why I duped them many years ago 😀

Each class gets their own unique ability: Sorcerer's is to recharge staffs for "free" (though the max number of charges gets reduced each time you do it)

PSX version of Diablo thought me a patiance. As you progress dungeon generates new floors and PSX version remembers all corpses position etc. If you died on later floors loading times were going for 20+ minutes xD Most important rule was - no matter what is happening, do not die ;)

This is my first time playing Diablo 1 and I'm getting my ass kicked, lol. Playing as Sorcerer. I wasted my recharges on my lightning staff, so I only have 5 shots from it. Anytime I see more than 3 enemies I start to sweat.
