Hey Spada, love your reviews, been watching them for a while now. Just received my own Daibouken today, and it is absolutely amazing. This is my first Japanese sentai mecha, and I'm just blown away with the level of detail and craftsmanship. Great recommendation, and can't wait to get the rest of the combiners from Boukenger!

There has been a six-wheeled F1 car in the 70s/80s. It was called the Tyrrell P34. It's the exact car that the G1 Stunticon Dragstrip is based on.

I can just see the overdrive megazord, the bucket lid coming off for the first time in years, it squints its eyes after being in that bin for so long, and then the Jojo theme starts playing as balt turns menacing

Around the 1:00 minute mark; "As usual, the pink unit is a mix of white and pink, not just pink." That has been a trend these days....maybe it's just a very light shade of pink. Also, it occurs to me that it's a good thing Boukenger/Overdrive was one of the seasons where a different ranger got an extra zord every episode, because otherwise they miiiight have a bit of trouble forming the Megazord if they go somewhere without a convenient river/ocean/lake/puddle. Of course, if a robot has to not show up, better an arm than a leg.

@FPrimusUnicron power rangers in japan is called Super Sentai and i'm not sure why the megazord has no articulation

The differece between this and the american version 1. it has some paint details missing, 2. most of the transformations are not correct, 3. the trailer system is quite different, 4. the sword cant convert into the shovel and pick axe, 4. it has lights and sounds, 5. it as no chrome (like the megazords we get today) 6. it has less articulation and 7. It is bigger. Oh and I got the drivemax megazord like 3 years ago, but I don't want to destroy it, and no offence but I I kind of like it.

The black racer with the 4 wheels up front is an homage to the Tyrell P34 F1 car that was used during the 1976 & '77 F1 Season. Drag Strip of the G1 Transformers Stunticons is a better representation of the P34 in toy form. I laugh at your reviews all the time. Thanks for being informative as well as entertaining. These 5 vehicles come from one set that make that robot as u see. There is another set that come with a police car, an ambulance and a fire truck. Any other vehicles from this Sentai series are sold serately

I'm freaking excited right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm got the DaiBouken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, not really... I got it on eBay for $55(55 being the total, it was $35 and $20 for shipping) and it hasn't arrived yet. I'm still excited 'cuz now I have 3 Sentai robots(actually I have the Jungle Pride and Master Megazords, but since they're exactly the same as Geki Touja and Fire, I refer to them as sentai robos). Once it arrives, I'll rub it in PR fans' faces... hehehe.

dude i got the U.S version and right when i got home a played with it a little and after about an hour,i made my mom take me back to walmart to return it...also in the U.S version the sword is just one big piece of plastic,i was upset that that the sword wanht two pieces like it was in the show...
