lmaoo y’all only saying they were influential because their songs were sampled, that’s only like 1/7 of what influential is when it comes to rap music. pac was way influential when it came to rap music so was slick rick with doug e and michael jackson of course even tho he made pop music. and i’m totally not mentioning tupac because of his hype and shit because coming from a person who has listened to mostly all of his music he just comes in as the most influential rapper of all time
@MrTMHTV6 жыл бұрын
lloyd oh tupac is as influental as three 6? tell me what modern rap song today sounds like doug e fresh with slick rick, with a beat box beat and shit? or give me rappers today that sound like tupac. thats right because three six crafted the whole rap scene as you know it today. they were way ahead of their time, back in the 90s you had shit like Whats my name by Snoop and shit, real old school sounding music. it was all boom bap. but listen to Ridin N Da chevy and you have the c hats ticking in the beat which wasnt heard of in popular music back then, but is in all beats today. Tupac may have been more influental with the messages he put out, his political stances and shit, but music wise, i dont know

I’m a huge $b fan. Didn’t know anything about three6 until I saw people saying “they stole their music, just a 3 6 clone”. This was back in 2017. So I went through and listen to a lot of 3 6 to see where they got their inspiration. I honestly don’t like the way 3 6 sounds. The beats are good but lyrically just isn’t a style I enjoy. Anyway, I don’t know how you can compare the way suicideboys sampled 3 6 to what “suicide 6” did. $b take the verse, sometimes they alter how it sounds or the speed… sometimes you can’t even tell it’s a sample unless your looking for it. Then the beat and tone of the song are different from the 3 6 one. None of their samples are just an entire 3 6 song that $b adds verses to with no changes made…. Now what “suicide 6” did is take entire $b songs, keep the original title of the $b song, and just add a verse. I’m not joking, go listen to the songs “suicide 6” made and tell me that’s the same thing suicideboys does. Anyway I’m rambling at 5am on KZbin again because I saw too many people making garbage arguments in comments.

I don't even think juice or paul even owns these masters even though they produced them.I think Nick Scarfo owns the prophet posse label now.I could be wrong .

Ф SLOWED Ф and 36 def gonna win .business is business
@redrum71594 жыл бұрын
De Anderson it’s fucked bc 36 ain’t the only thing that scrim has sampled without paying royalties to, like in “sunshine” he used the music from 28 days later
@slowed83944 жыл бұрын
De Anderson I wouldn’t say that brotha, they gotta go after everyone that uses 3 6 samples, $b isn’t the only one who does it.
@slowed83944 жыл бұрын
jarred lucifer it’s fucked because hella people do it, and these 3 6 dickriders act like $b is the only one who does it.
@emeraldweb71693 жыл бұрын
That KYS3 sampling was masterful

Even though it’s sampled it still sounds completely different
@slowed83944 жыл бұрын
Exactly, some of these 3 6 fans don’t get that.
@PFlaw3174 жыл бұрын
Using that logic copyright wouldn't exist because it 'sounds different'
@slowed83944 жыл бұрын
PFlaw317 okay. How about all the other rappers and producers that use Memphis samples? Sue them too. $b ain’t the only one who does it.
@newnamesameperson3974 жыл бұрын
Yeah which is why that lawsuit 3-6 is trying to pull out now probably won't go anywhere
@4265kitty4 жыл бұрын
So their whole career is sampling... CAN NOT BE ORIGINAL 🤣🤣🤣🤣
