I remember the end of production party for the last ever Avengers series. It took up the whole of Stage 2 and 3 with food and drink flowing at no expense spared. I was a young projectionist in the dubbing theatre at the time and if my memory serves me correctly we were still working on the American version at 10 pm in order for the master magnetic track to get the late night flight. They were good days along with the Saint, Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) and Department S, and many other TV shows made around that time. John Hough was an excellent second unit director and I always loved his scenic composition and find myself thinking about it in my own photography. keithtowers.zenfolio.com/

Friday night as a kid in the sixtys with a bottle of pop and crisps and around 8 pm on ITV we would watch the Avengers . What more could you want . And of course our Diana god bless her as mrs peel . Truly a most beautiful English rose . Great to watch on its day , somewhat bizarre in various episodes which made it even better . But British tv at it's best.

Something Nasty in the Nursery is probably my favorite episode. A psychedelic drug that produces a child like state. Nanny Roberts. Show Nanny Roberts where the missle locations are. Brilliant!

Brian Clemens saying that he wrote the pilot for The Avengers again - he didn't, he wrote episode 2 Brought to Book. Hot Snow, the first episode was written by Ray Rigby.

@@unowen-nh9ov I think Honor Blackman was pretty popular. I mean, popular enough for James Bond to poach her.

@@justinkrivers Yes, but only one woman was good enough for James Bond to marry! And we all know who that was!

Where can one get the Tara King tag scenes theme (playing in the final credits here)? It's never been released in any of the compilations but it sounds pretty HI Fi here, as it if were form a CD. My eternal gratefulness to anyone who can reply.
