Diagnosed the overheating engine and ac not cold. Problem was with the cooling fan motor and condenser fan motor not working.
I checked the fuses visually to see it it was burnt and then tested it with a test light to see if it was getting any power. Fuses were good and had power to it.
Then I used jump wires and a battery jump starter to direct power to the motor. I did this to see if the motors are working, in which they were not. So it was confirmed the motors were bad.

There are NO videos online that better show what is involved in working on modern vehicles than what Angel is posting here on KZbin. I could nit-pick here and there about a few procedures, but 95% of the time Angel's work is spot on. Smart, resourceful, and doggedly determined is what is needed to tackle today's cars, and Angel has these qualities in spades. You go dude.

Loved this. Who would have thought the fans died? And to boot both of them? Did a surge fried it? Finding that out was the best thing. Then having to unclip all those splash guard clips and wire clips without broken them? Gold. I would have broken half of those. Great vid. Good Job.

Awesome video! Feels like I'm right their with you! Definitely will have to steal that idea from you. Came across alot of comdensor fans being out or fuses blown for odd reasons. Definitely a sure fire way of diagnosing so you don't need to disassemble to diagnose. Idk if you have any insight to my 07' Odyssey but, has two fans. Both come on at first when the A/C is turned on then the one on the driverside shuts off. Motor was replaced along with new radiator. Not sure if that's normal cuz I know some cars are different. Any thoughts? Thanks Fix It Angel!

@FixItAngel 5 жыл бұрын
Camry le hi, this is not my car. I always recommend genuine OEM parts to the owner of the car first. But most say it’s too expensive and then I say to use aftermarket parts. Everyone has a preference and budget. I don’t force them what to buy. Now you know why when you watch all my videos.

God that's a pain in the ass. He took off like 50 plastic clips 20 bolts and clamp a radiator hose and then removed both the resivor and hood latch to get the sob off. Then striped a screw getting the motor off abd he had to use almost every damn tool known to man to do it ahhh man what a headache. These car maufatures absolutely suck! You can't fix a damn thing and on top of that there all these ridiculous stupid laws with everything. I bought a new gas can and it is useless to me cause in order to put the gas in u have to press this lever hard to open it up in side where fule can flow while you holding it in the other hand oh and btw you can't get the fule neck tube into the gulet of the fule tank cause it dont fit and don't expect to get every drop of gas you paid for to go into the take because of its design if you try to turn it up side down to get a better angle the gas will spill out on you. Why are we buying shit that do t help us

They didn't die at the same time, one died, then months/years later the other one did. The car runs ok to 100F ambient with just 1 fan working, so most don't notice that. We have 3 Elements in my family, and this is a common problem at 180-200k miles.
