What brand/type is the air hose you have (the one you connect to the impact gun)? It looks more sturdy than the normal skinny nylon ones (the one connected to your air compressor). Thanks!

That timing belt looked loose. I would've tightened it up before putting it all back together. I never thought the light pull spring put enough tension on the timing belt.

You can get to those bolts easier if you take the passenger side wheel off and use a few extensions.

Spray glass cleaner on the tool and the start of the hose and push the tip of your pick in the side and work the glass cleaner around the circumference of the plastic tubing and it’ll pop right off every time

Whats the purpose of marking the driveshaft ?
@FixItAngel5 күн бұрын
Hi it’s just a habit from my foreman at a Toyota dealership to do it so if there is a vibration we know to see if the driveshaft was placed the same way as it was removed. Thanks for asking. Have a nice day

The most valuable lesson learned here-aside from protecting your 🥜😆 is to always test the replacement starter before installing it. I've received defective units that were dead on arrival straight out of the box, whether from Bosch, OEM, or remanufactured units from AutoZone, O'Reilly, and others. You’d hate to go through all that effort only to have to do it all over again! 🤙🏼
