Diagnose Passenger Rear Window Switch/Motor 01 GMC Yukon XL-EP152

In this episode we dive in to this 01 GMC to find out why right rear window isn’t rolling down. Motor was fine and found right rear switch had internal relay that has failed on the ‘down’ side of circuit. New switch/relays are pretty costly so currently trying to find the best deal on one.

swap switch with drivers side rear door. If it works after that, it's off to the you pull it bone yard

My 04 suburban rear driver window won't work with either the front or back switches. Thinking I'm smart, I changed the regulator(I've already had to on all the other windows already). Still not working so I tried swapping the back switches. Still not working, heading for the front master switch now. Didn't think if it isn't working, the other won't work either. Gonna learn something new I guess.

And you’ve self powered the rear driver motor and it works? You can try getting a wiring diagram and maybe trace back to see where the power “isn’t” coming from. Good luck!

Hey John, on this one the switch had o be replaced due to a faulty relay that is housed inside of it.
