I had the key information read for the aftermarket the original key has no info because it's broken so my key is still good I'm thinking the eis went out but someone keeps trying to get me to replace the ESL which I know from experience if I put the key in the eis it should still say please remove key from ignition but the steering wheel wouldn't move so I'm 100% sure it might be the eis was trying to see your insights

Great video, I'm uk based, E350 coupe 2010. Car ignition will come on, all lights illuminate but no crank? Diagnostics say open circuit on starter (error code P11EA) I can start the vehicle via jumping the starter but not from the key, any ideas... P.s., the els seems to activating fine and battery is new. Any help is much appreciated.

Hey I'm diagnosing my 09 c300 and my cluster doesn't wake up with the original key or the aftermarket it doesn't Evan say remove key from ignition nor does the wrong key wake it up I'm stuck any clues

Does the mileage show up when you open the driver door?

Does it show any sign of power at all? If it does. Check fuses 19 and 27. Make sure those are good. If they are good then you have a bad EIS or a bad key.

Yes the cluster wakes up when u open the door it has power cause my radio and lights come on just no ignition and I had my key information read with the scanner and the mechanic told me it was a working key

If your mechanic is correct about the key. It must be the EIS. Did you check those two fuses I mentioned?
