Omg I swear I’ve wondered if this could be what going on . Everything you’ve described matches me to a T. I’ve dealt with autoimmune diseases since the age of 4. As I get older it seems like it’s always something else . I have been exposed to mold . I’ve seen one of my 8 Drs for 40 years . My ent wanted to do some type of test on me regarding the allergies I have but at that time I had a child on a feeding tube & just had too much going on in life . The itchyness is gonna make me crack up. My scalp itches & body itches so much . She prescribed me an antihistamine hydroxizene or something close to that. I do have poTs and RA & so many other things . I just can’t imagine have another diagnosis .

I sounds like me too. And I haven’t found answers yet. But my spouse doesn’t want to pay for non-traditional medicine. 😢

I can identify with the itching. It becomes too much at times. I am sensitive to the barometric pressure, so when the weather changes I react with itching, congestion, stomach pains, fatigue and sinus headaches. It has gotten worse over the last four months, prior to that it was intermittent. It can come on also with stress which leads to anxiety which leads to the same kind of symptoms. Probably your stress is causing the symptoms.

Who is the best doctor to see about this? Could a dermatologist be aware of this?

If you have this. You have disseminated strongyloidiasis syndrome. You need helminth treatment with antibiotics . Do not use any corticosteroids, they induce hyper infections leading to histamine attacks.

Meds - Famotidine to block H2 (Pepcid) morning and night. Claritin/allegra (or similar H1 blocker) in the morning. A different H1 blocker at night (hydroxyzine or benadryl for example). Cromolyn, Ketotifen. Another doctor I know recommends low dose naltrexone.
