Here's something to try for a disc issue- If you lay on your stomach (sure it'll hurt if your back is out due to a disc or three, or even muscles), put your hands in the push up position and do a few push-ups. What this SEEMS to do is open up the vertebra and/or tweak them a bit so that the pinched nerves free themselves. Works for me and my discs popped at my first few days at a new job and I have to hide it. I have an appt for neck disc replacement surgery in a few days and figure this.. I blow out my back! Oh,also wear boots with higher heels like work boots. Kinda chic with a business suit, but people will deal with it.

This video, featuring Dr. JOHN RAYMOND BAKER, DC discusses the misuse of Waddell's Signs, based on the correction issued by Dr. Gordon Waddell, MD who created the Waddell's Signs, who was very clear, in his restatement of 1998, that his signs were being used incorrectly, and that improper use, whether the misuse was through ignorance, intentional misuse, misinterpretation, or misapplication, could do harm to those they were used against, and that such misuse should be discontinued.
