Turn key on. Security flashes 5 times. When done flashing remove key. Wait at least seconds, insert next key. If no other keys and/or when done. Insert first key back in and start. Should fire right up. Will need to be performed every time the battery is fully dead or disconnected. This video he practically explains it’s possible to bypass the I mobilizer completely. Which removes future headaches. Both methods work

Dude you are a real genius. How long you been teching? Or are you just a mechanic? So Whats the diagnosis on the P1610? Immobilizer lock mode. Did you actually go through the steps to properly diagnose the P1610?? Anyone can read a code. Did you read the pids, did you check power and grounds? or test the immu? no you assumed cause that is what your snap on solus read...now i feel dumb now for watching this video....thanks for your effort...complete fail

The BCM ended up having to get replaced. The BCM wouldn't program. Two dealerships tried and failed. Tell me, what steps are you talking about? Obviously you know more then me. So enlighten me.

I was just saying hell go through the proper steps when u go diagnosing an automobile instead of just reading a code....I'm working on an infiniti g35 and found a bad ipdm causing the immu not to read key....

Hey there, I had these codes, bought an ECM that had NATS deleted from it, and I'm still having an issue where when I turn the key my radiator fans immediately come on and my engine light isn't illuminated, indicating ECM communication issue. Any idea where to go from here? I'm stumped.

Oh dear. So, if you send an ECM to UpRev for instance, it has to be done to your VIN#. Can I ask if it's the right year and transmission configuration of the car the ECM came from? Like it didn't start out as an auto car, and then swapped to a manual. That would give you some wired stuff because the wiring is different. Did you confirm the used ECM works.

@@chrisramirez7257 aside from the NATS issue, it ended up being an electrical issue I traced back to the fuse box behind the battery. Can't remember exactly which relay though.

@@chrisramirez7257did you ever figure out your problem ? I’m having the same issue! My car starts but it starts slow, the check engine light is not illuminated, also as soon as my car turns on the radiator fans turn on as well and I keep getting a P1615 code. Any advice goes a long way!

I have a nissan micra 2008 have same problem, lying down for a year when ever I take our the battery it won't start, so try start it so many times it won't start i keep trying it for one hour later it start and never stop starting once it starts. It only gives hard starting when u take out the battery to fix something. If u have leave that car for one hour or two it will surely start. 😀 cos mine is still starting till now. I Have no money to spend in nissan 😀

Hey, @SouthdownGargage great video. I'm getting the same codes in my 03 g35 after it had been sitting for 1 year without being used or turned on. The battery died in the car which is why I'm assuming it forgot the key. I have tried all 3 keys I have for the car and it's the same as your crank no start. My security light isn't blinking but I'm not too sure if it's disconnected or not. Is it necessary to get it towed to a dealership to have the NATS programmed or is there a way to attain a scanner and do it yourself. And if it needs to be towed to a dealership to have it programmed what is the estimated cost.

@SemeerMahmood apperintely this is a common problem with Nissan/Infiniti cars that sit for a year. You can do it yourself, but the scanner is $700 - $1200. To reprogram from the dealership can be anywhere from $75 to $200, depending on how many keys you have. The other option, which may be the cheapest, some locksmiths can reprogram the keys for your car. Then you won't need to tow your car somewhere.

@@sameermahmood9413 the only thing I have found that is somewhat reasonable in price is the Launch X431 Pro Mini. By reasonable I still mean really expensive, just not as expensive as the one by Snap-On and Autel MaxiIM IM608.

I had a bad BCM...it went to two different dealerships before it was fixed. Most of the time, it just needs a simple key programming, mine really wanted to fight lol. Let me know how it goes!

@@SouthdownGarage I'm having the same problem with my Infiniti qx4. The locksmith said my key is working but my computer on the car is locked. The dealership wants $1200 just for the computer & no programs 😕 I think I might just sell the car as is . I really like the car but I don't think it's worth $2000 to get it running again
