my brother was a neurologist who died of this horrible disease, he spent the last two months of his life at M.D ANDERSON in Houston where i found out he was adult patient number five and all had died he was only 48, his Medical staff at he hospital seemed baffled by this illness.

My dad just past away after 3 months stay in hospital. They couldn’t find out what cause the hlh. They suspect cancer of some type but couldn’t identify. It was horrible 3 month for my dad, at the end, he got bowel perforation with sepsis and we decide not to go ahead with surgery and watch him die. It was horrible experience for him and for us. Even till now I still wonder if his illness is fightable and we gave up him too easily.

at 13.43 i read that infections sucha as HIV or TB mentioned out there . does that mean a peraon who has had TB could develop HLH??

Plz Help me. My 16months child undergo treatment in HLH. i performed genetic test than Sanger Sequence reports in MedGenome but Dr. Confused that how it trigger. i have all reports sir. Plz Anyone Help Please

In the case 1 slide, I think it should have said ferritin 45000 instead of fibrinogen.
