I remember when these cats were new to the music scene. A lot of of friends were hating on them because the girls at our school were crazy about them. I always thought they were awesome, out there doing their thing!!!!! I'm 32 and I still dance and sing to their music!!!

In the first 20 seconds of this performance they showed more raw talent than Bieber and all these other new age 'stars' have shown in their entire careers.

This was the best era in dancing! No one really does this type of choreography these days. This was talent. These groups still can't be touched. This stuff was so hot when I was entered high school.

This performance on 'Showtime At The Apollo' in my opinon, if not the best crowd reaction...has got to be damn near #2 of ALL TIME for that show!!!

Hakim is way ahead of his years in this video. He has all the moves down. He comes across as the most natural of group and I believe he is the third youngest.

Luv these boys, mad talent, they've kept their music clean. Not calling folks Nigga's or B"s in their music. Mad swag moves. Unlike the no talent sh"t music on the market today. "The Boys" * * * * *

yeah, they was lip-syncing, but back then all the artist did that, especially those who danced. I was around the boys age when they came out. This brings me back, and this song will always be one of my all time favs!! I did like Khiry, too....

I think the world has gone for far too long without anything remotely similar to this, as far as talented young kids are concerned. The crap kids listen to today is almost as if it comes from another very sick & unhealthy dimension, no wonder kids back then were healthier (mentally & physically) than kids today. We need a miracle.
@b00too16 жыл бұрын
amazes me how these young kids can perform like this, most little kids would freeze in front of a crowd.

I do not know, just, what it is? but, whenever I become sad. or, even depressed. these lil' guys.. & w. their phone song too.. just makes me smile! mind you, at the orig. release date of this single; 1988? I was managing a rec. store. so, I'd hear their music regularly. & I remember their rec. label a&r guy; mr. bobby shore, coming in to promote their music too. I know that they were just lil' kids. but, I liked their catchy songs. & by gone music-it.. I supported their music. & I'm not ashamed, because I'd go to see them perform live at local ny. nite clubs.. & I'd be the only 19 yr. old male in their audiences; aka. a sea of 40-100 7,8,9, & 10 yr. old ll girls. lol. joking. kinda'. lmao!!

They're lip-synching here, but at the time I wouldn't have cared a bit cuz I was a huge fan off theirs. And, even though I can barely remember this (it was so long ago), I can kinda remember watching this in the living room with the rest of the family camped around the TV when this came on. Man, I used to love them back in the day:)
