I know this might be stupid for me to say out loud, but black people have the MOST INCREDIBLY SOULFUL voices, and it seems to come so naturally for them. Not forced at all. We owe so much thanks to these artists for giving us so much amazing music through all these years!

Artists had so much talent back in the days. They could sing, dance, everything.
@deyblu50445 жыл бұрын
You mean BLACK artists. That group with Donnie Wahlberg I think they were called New Kids on the Block (I think) they were NOT talented. I wasn't born when any of them came out (I'm 24), but Black artists were more talented even now when compared to their white counterparts. Even today. I would rather hear the Migos than Post Malone. Cardi B and Nicki (love them or hate them) they are way more talented than Post Malone, Iggy Azalea, Mackelmore and many more white rappers. Black artists have always been more talented because we don't get a pass (damn sure not Black women) for lacking talent if we can't dance we have to be good singers, AND be excellent performers. A black person could never have a JLO career (meaning just pretty, but can't sang plus she used ghost singers) or Justin Timberlake career (justin cannot sing that good to me and his dancing is shit).

@@deyblu5044 No he means artist in general, good music is determined on the song, not color. Also, a lot of artists have ghostwriters, which is such a nonvalid reason to discredit Jlo. Some artist that use ghost writers include Niki, The Weekend, Drake, John Legend, Micheal Jackson such have Grammy-nominated songs that are written by other people, and they are black so are you going to discredit them too? Your argument is to narrow minded and you only focus on color. I'm a person of color too, and it sad to see such a pathological statement like this.

New Edition were amazing but the first boy bands were The Jackson Five, The Osmonds and Menudo. They crawled so everyone else could walk. Gotta give them that respect🙏 In fact, Maurice Starr, the man who put New Edition on the map, got the boy band idea from a meeting with Menudo. He was supposed to work with Menudo but their idiot creator rejected the idea so Starr saw New Edition performing and snatched them up. People always try to throw the Beatles in there as the first boy band but they were grown men with wives and kids, not boys. Let the actual kids have SOMETHING!
