Pro tip. DO NOT remove the bumper. Put a long, shallow box under the bumper. Remove all the clips holding the top edge of the bumper, and the screws in the wheel wells. Unsnap the whole top edge of the bumper and let the bumper rest on top of the box. It will give you plenty of clearance to access the bolts under the headlights. That way, you don’t have to lift the front of the car and take all those clips out of the bottom of the bumper. You really don’t even need to remove the upper trim cowling under the hood. Leave the upper 2 clips in place but remove the rest of the clips. This will speed up the process by about half, because the worst part is all the bumper clips at the bottom. I just replaced the headlights on my odyssey and it took exactly an hour.

That sounds awesome! Of the clips on the "top panel" the ones closest to the grill were easy, but the two closest to the windshield on the far left and right don't have indents to get a tool under and I don't know if I should just dive in with a flat head and pry them loose or if that will break them. If you're saying they don't even have to come out, that's perfect.

I’m guessing the hardest part is getting the bumper re-installed. This is a great tutorial, very straight forward. Happy to have found this as my wife just murdered a deer last night on the interstate... van took it right on the driver side headlight 😬

Can the "lens" (the plastic cover) be replaced without replacing the whole assembly? Everything works fine - the lens is just faded. Looks like there are little clips holding the lens to the housing. Seems like I could pop those clips and replace the lenses without taking the bumper or grill off.

dial2fast hey. Quick question. 2007 EX-L. Did you say I only need to remove grille to get radiator out or easier just to remove the entire bumper ? Also if you please is the radiator you git good ? This is the second one that has gone bad since I hit a deer. Body shop put in new aftermarket leaked in 2 weeks then they put a replacement in. Hasn’t been two years and it’s now leaking. Don’t want to keep dealing with this :-)). Thank you!!!!

@@mi3grls1 I never owned a 2007 model which has a different grill design, but in my research, the radiator can be removed on the 07 with just the grill removed. The radiator I used in my repair is reputable and good quality. I have used that brand on several cars with no problems.
