You can put some thin foam sheets inside of that truck to quiet it down some. Something to absorb the sound. 😉

Hey Smoak, I wonder if a spray can type rubberized undercoating on the body would help with noise? It's cheap, easily applied, wouldn't be seen, and wouldn't add any appreciable weight. I know nothing about RC cars, but I tinker with a lot of stuff and am good at finding oddball solutions.

I was thinking similarly. Maybe some adhesive backed felt, or even the loop portion of "Hook & Loop" fasteners.

Man, that gen9 looks like it was beaten with an ugly stick. 😂 I wouldn't add the decals to it, anything that ugly don't need it 😅 all jokes aside, it sounds much quieter now than the gen 8. Very nice👌😀

The Gen 8 v2 was my first real RC car. I LOVED that thing so much. The first "mod" I did to it was moving the rear axel back one notch. It made it look SO MUCH better from the side profile. It also made it much more stable on steep inclines. It did ever so slightly reduce the breakover angle. But it wasn't THAT noticible. The second was the light kit and wheels and tires. The Gen 9 looks like it needs the opposite and the front axel needs to move forward a notch... But that's just MY opinion. It definitely looks WAY better without all the stickers in MY opinion as well... I have the TRX4 2021 Bronco now. To be completely honest... Traxxas is SO NOT worth the extra money it costs... Before I got mine. I always thought traxxas was so much better. Then I got one... and I was highly disappointed... The servo's are TRASH... The shift and diff lock servo's lasted a little longer than the steering. But thats only because they're hardly used. The only real difference between the Gen 8 and TRX4 is the diff locks and 2 speed. But the Gen9 has a 2 speed. The only real reason to get a TRX4 now is if you like the looks. Which I do LOVE my Bronco... lol. But otherwise. You're better off getting the Gen 9. Or even the Gen 8 V2. They're JUST as capable. At any rate. Nice video. I love your voice... It's so calming... lol.

Quick dumb question..., if the body is amplifying the sound, could you put the magnetic body holders with a very thin washer under each magnet to help kill the sound?

The front end on mine is also very loud! I was wondering if that is normal or not. Do you have any recommendation on a replacement shift servo? Mine immediately went bad and when I got a new higher end on I could dial it in before burning it up.
