It’s implied that Spamton talked to Gaster over a phone and gained and lost everything he had One of his friends says that they went to spamtons house and saw a phone with an empty reciever On the over end, only what is described as garbage noise could be heard and when using kris’s phone to call it says “It’s just garbage noise”

Though this is very probable, also consider that the “garbage noise” plays when you call someone from the light world usually. This to me shows that either Gaster is in Hometown or that someone we least expect from Hometown was making him go mad. Idk tho, just have never seen anyone mention this sooo

​@@van8739Garbage Noise is actually rlly related to Gaster since we can hear it in The Bunker by speeding it up but that could have just meant that there is a Dark World in there (whitch i do belive still) but the reason why it's relates to Gaster is the fact that you get the Garbage Noise when you speed it up to 666% and 666 is Gaster's signature Undertale Number

Would make sense, as it is theorized both Jevil and Spamton were 'corrupted' by Wingdings, as in Jevil his mind 'cleared' by someone, and then he saw life was a game And Spamton got help (probably in 1997) from someone on the phone (presumably Wingdings) as when having beaten Spamton Neo as secret boss, all addisons line up at the trash in front of his shop One says 'I heard someone speaking on the phone, but when I held my ear to it, there was only garbage noise' And we know the garbage noise is linked to Wingdings

That's the world revolving leitmotif that can be heard before don't forget leitmotif, ive seen notes of both soundtracks. If you delete "the circus" notes in dialtone, make long notes shorter and speed up a little, it will become literally that the world revolving leitmotif. The moment you've shown is very close to freedom motif, but that's not exactly it. And yes, there's a gaster leitmotif, it played in almost every soundtrack.

its just a reversed snippet of the Freedom leitmotif so yeah it solidifies Spamton's connection to Gaster, but it also connects Gaster with everything else that has the Freedom leitmotif kinda like what another comment said, something abt a lot of random things being boiled down to being related to Gaster in some way

Well the theme was made so simple so he COULD have it be taken as "it's fucking everywhere" because of Gaster's character. However, a lot its appearances in Deltarune's OST sounds very intentional. (Yes, 🤓)

There is no way Toby put gaster's theme in reverse into Dialtone - its such a weirdly specific thing to do. Im sure you could just as easily find Gaster's theme in the works of Mozart, too. Its 4 notes. Its difficult to NOT accidentally use Gaster's theme if you're writing as much music as Toby does. Without a strong connection between Spamton and Gaster, I'm gonna have to disagree.

His lore is all in the face pretty much. Seam confirmed this by diffrieanting between the mysterious figure which is referred to as *Mysterious man* while Knight is referred by his title not as a mysterious man. Also Spamton's shop theme is just world revolving. Like com'n dudes it's so obvious it's screaming in your face with Seams dialouge and him literally marking a difference between the Knight and mysterious man and from symbolism with numbers to symbolism with his alphabet like Spamton's phone literally means brackets in Windings. Like please why would Seam end his dialouge with darker yet darker line in a dialouge that is about Jevil and his source of his madness and is only available after defeating Jevil?
