Diamond Cutting a Pindo Palm/Large Pindo Palm/Large Palms and Trees/The Tree Planters

The Pindo Palm is the heartiest of the feather palm varieties. It’s large size and long fronds give it a very tropical look which can add a unique appearance to your landscape. The Pindo Palm Tree, sometimes known as the Jelly Palm, is a hardy feather palm tree variety. The tree has a large trunk and fronds 6 to 8 feet long. I usually reaches a height of 15-20 feet in most areas although it can reach a height of 30 feet. It stands up very well to the cold but temperatures below 5 degrees will cause damage. Cut them shorter and it will make it 10 times more beautiful and measure each one and then your talking about a good job .

TBH, this is pretty sloppy for a demo! The vertical angle is too shallow and both the horizontal levels and angles are inconsistent. It's not the terrible hack job you see from multiple persons trimming over decades in a homeowners yard But It can be done much better, It just takes more time and care to make every cut at exactly the same angle to the center of the trunk. He is cutting at about a 30 degree leaving round bottom end profiles A Diamond cut should be closer to 45 degrees from vertical and the difficult part, perfectly perpendicular to the radius that intersects the center of each Boot. leaving a diamond shape profile Not half moons.
