Diamond Dust Zone (Genesis) - Hybrid Remix

This is probably the most Tee Lopes esque music piece I've heard from you (Besides your Press Garden Zone Act 2 remix.), what with all the brass instrumentation, hah. 😁 Sounds superb, and I really dig that the melody transition from Diamond Dust Zone to IceCap Zone was handled gradually. Additionally, the extended intro before the main Diamond Dust Zone melody drops is nicely reminiscent of both the Mega Drive and Saturn variants of Diamond Dust Zone Act 2, which also have intro sections. Very neat! 🙂 The unique melody you placed between Diamond Dust Zone and IceCap Zone keeps giving me quite strong Freedom Planet 2 vibes (Particularly 2:18 to 2:40.), but I can't place precisely why, although I think I've heard some similar melodies / instrumentation from that game? Whatever the case may be, that entire unique melody section is probably one of my favourite things about this piece, alongside the general hybrid remix execution, as well as the seamless transition back to Diamond Dust Zone melodies. 😃 Furthermore, I like the little atmospheric touches which sound like snow crumpling and ice cracking / crunching. The way you remixed 3:35 to 3:45 gives me quite an emotional feeling, too. Oh, and I'm very much a fan of the stereo panning jingle bells, as I love stereo panning like that in general! Feels reminiscent of the brief stereo panning percussion solo section in the original Diamond Dust Zone Act 2 on Mega Drive. 🙂 Overall, very well done! I keep coming back to re-listen to this. 😎
