I watched the anime and read the end of the manga at the beginning of 2023 and loved it ! It’s getting a French physical release next month in omnibuses and I’m super excited for it, hope it gets licensed in English physically as well !

Sawamura and Maruo gotta be the most underrated sports protags imo. Sawamura's development is something. hes my favourite protagonist tbh. i usually dont even like loud mouth characters that much. Miyuki is a character i have such mixed feelings about but hes so popular because of his looks lmao. the trolling can just be a bit much and the way he can't emphathize with the underdogs. Daiya actually got me into baseball because of the interesting strategies and the psychology behind it. Furuya and Sawamura's rivalry is honestly one of the best and it's sad how much hate Furuya gets. the way they motivate each other to get better and their friendship. The character dynamics are soo special in general. all the parallels with different characters

same!! characters like sawamura rub me the wrong way sometimes but i really fell in love with him and his growth this time around. it was soooo satisfying to see him fully succeed in the end. and yes his rivalry with furuya was too good. i agree that miyuki can be too much with his trolling but i like him because i can relate to him having a lot of pressure on him (captain, starting catcher, best batter, sempai, etc) and struggling to get it right some of the time like with the way he handled the nabe situation, going to furuya about going pro, etc. i also think he has an interesting backstory

Do you spend a lot of money on k-manga? I was looking at it and you get free passes but I’m assuming eventually they’ll run out, and the credits look expensive

i read on there completely free! completed series you can read with the free tickets minus the last couple chapters. so if you stick to completed series it’s not an issue. they often have ticket deals like 5-10 free tickets a day and i have 3 devices which is how i read so quickly. you can watch ads to get the point credits so i just watch the max of those everyday and by the time i get to the end of a series i have enough to buy those last couple chapters so ya it does take some patience to read on there for free but it’s possible
