Had these guys come to our local fair. They killed it!! They are still amazing, they sound better than the recording watching them live. Incredibly talented band. All the band members are individually amazing talents. guitar, piano, vocals, fiddle, mandolin, they even whipped out a banjo and started playing some 70's/80's rock music. It was awesome.

I got to see Diamond Rio live in concert. The lead singer is really cute ! I used to go to dances in Kearney Nebraska, and would request this song if/when they played it I fond the handsomost man there, and asked him to dance. That was 1987-1992. Claudia Heinowski

Serious question, was Norma Jean Riley a real person? My late paternal grandmother's maiden name was Barbara Jean Briley (she passed away 5 years ago and was in her 80s) and I never noticed until just now how similar those names are! And I grew up on this song (I'm 40), just the things you don't notice until you're older! Would love permission to do a tribute song to her that's a remake of this for our remaining family, my dad and his siblings mainly.
