I just left Diamond back about 3weeks ago. I was a quality technician, and I have nothing but good things to say about the quality of their firearms. Diamondback machines their own lowers, barrels, hand-guards and flash hiders. When I resigned they had just machined their first upper. By now the uppers may be in full production. Diamondback is meticulously machining parts for their new SDR .357 revolver. It is a fine firearm. I shot the prototype and it was sweet. As you can tell I didn’t leave because I was unhappy. You ought to demo their new Obsidian model. I love that one. Great guns, great prices and a great company. Great video too.

Im seeing an overwhelming amount of people claiming to have worked for the company leaving eerily similar comments on many diamond back videos, seems quite suspicious, tho i LOVE diamondback, it still seems odd with these comments.

That has changed. I worked for Diamondback for 2.5 years as a quality technician. They have new management in their CNC shop and their QA manager is great. They now work together with engineering to make the best guns for the best price. Their times of problem pistols is past.

costs 1700 USD in Sweden! Why is everything so cheap in USA? And mine doesnt look like this. Different railguard and all black. I cant find out how to take off the railguard! Am new to the AR system and the info is zero

Not sure about the price in Sweden but it could be because these are USA made so I’m sure there are import and shipping charges that could raise the price to other countries. As far as the the way it looks, DiamondBack Firearms have several different models to choose from. They range from different colors, hand guards, sights, etc. To remove the hand guard, it depends on which one you have.

@@BrunswickFirearmsReviews One thing is that we have 25% VAT and you have 8-10% depending on which state. Example: Norma is a Swedish ammo and its cheaper in USA than in Sweden- Yes its insane! Over all everything is Cheaper in USA. We have very different gun laws and I got mine with a hunting license and thats why its got an 18" barell (bureaucrats!!) Its a 223 Wylde with stainless barell all black, only picatini on top, Havent shot it yet and have just started the projekt to kit it. My first AR and I find it "a little special" Thanks for reply!

@@armageddon1403 Yes. VAT is high I hear. The 223 Wylde is great. It still can shoot 556 and 223 with the 223 being more accurate out of it verses the 223 out of a standard 556. Robert Wylde was a smart guy in developing this hybrid chamber. Thank you for watching our video!

Yes. There are different types and lengths of hand guards. Great firearm overall.

I really love the Diamondbacks. Lots of people I know own them and love them as well. I think they are well worth the money and they have a lifetime warranty.
