Deciding now whether to get the F150 Raptor, Tremor or Platinum, the later two leveled on 35's after purchase if I get one of them. If I go the Platinum I have the choice of the 5.5' or 6.5' beds. Is that the 6.5' bed on yours? And do you have any thoughts on which to get, 5.5' or 6.5' bed? With the 6.5' I could probably open a regular tent right on top of it, couldn't do that with the 5.5' bed. But then the 5.5' might drive better, I don't know, I've never had a 6.5'. Thoughts? Thanks.

Mine is an F350. The F350 tremors only come in one bed size, 6.75ft. You might notice the shorter bed is easier when parking, etc, but personally I'd get the larger bed. I had a 2019 Ram 1500 and got the long bed (6'4") on it and loved it. The 5.5ft beds on Ford and Ram just don't seem to have much space. It all depends on what you're going to use it for, but in the half tons, the extra foot doesn't change the looks or handling characteristics of the truck much, but the extra space is nice. Would a pair or two pair of Max Trax fit in that longer middle section of the removable storage bin inside the bed under the front end? I'm trying to figure out where inside the bed those can be mounted and readily accessible, and if they could lay flat or on their sides inside the tray, then perfect and maybe won't need to mount them somewhere. I originally planned to mount the Max Trax onto the front inside of the bed, but then seems I many not have the room to also use that removable tray or storage bin and that looks very useful. Other ideas?

I don't have this setup anymore, but I don't think they would fit there.

Your bed won't drain with that piece you installed on the tailgate

I haven't noticed it being a problem. I drove all day in the rain with no issues.
