Hello Jacob I have a question, can a dump trailer be built with double telescopic hydraulics, so therefore in theory when dumping a load the trailer will go up twice as fast??? If so how much more would that be compared to a regular telescopic

@@minixllc4860 Jacob here- Great question! Adding a second cylinder by itself wouldn’t actually make it any faster, it would actually take longer using the same pump because you would be having to move twice the amount of fluid volume. We are working on optimizing the pump as we speak to speed up the cycle time with the same single cylinder. 👍

Love y'all's trailers, so many different options for each type of trailer and it seems that your company puts a lot of time and effort to building a quality product that lasts. I would like to purchase a couple trailers from you guys, hopefully next year I can do that. I would also like to see a detailed video of each trailer your company offers. It helps to view the product better than looking at a few pictures and you can help describe all the features you have for each trailer. Also, love the color choices you have with your trailers and the paint looks like it will last a very long time. One thing I learned from this video was you talking about the different flooring designs in the dump trailers. I didn't know that, thanks for explaining that to us. Looking forward to the next video.

After seeing the fork holders at the end of the video I would suggest making the fork holders wider so that the owner of the trailers wouldn't have to constantly adjust their forks, make it so they're in the width of a standard pallet and it would be a lot easier

Jacob, you should showcase this one in another video before you ship it out! Also.. What're the chance you can build a bolt on window bracket on the back end coming out of the stake pockets that's level with the deck on the neck? I'd like to span pump jack scaffold/ladders from the deck on the neck to the back of the trailer when driving to a new work site. Would be nice if it was made from factory with the same colour as the trailer..

Great information about your trailers. Look like quality built trailers. Checked your website and didn't see an option for goose neck option for the MDT trailers. Is the goose neck option in the MDT and/or LDT lines? Thanks

Thank you for the feedback! Gooseneck is not available on MDT. Our best recommendation would be to select the LPT in a 12’, with it you can add the gooseneck package. 👍

Look like quality built trailers. they all make them look amassing until you crawl under and really take a good look, remember wheels off is what tells one who knows what they are looking at/for, is one that can truly say.. i disagree with you.. looks a deceiving, soon as i see c-channel, its out....

@@arnoldromppai5395 i like C channel better up here in the north. Tubing just rusts from the inside out here. Any spot to hold moisture around here and they are rusted out in under 5 years.

Canada were salt is layed down heavy, all my trailer are built out of heavy wall tubing, if you dont know how to work with tubing yes it will rust out from in side out, the trick is to cap off all ends ans weld rgw ends solid, all your wiring is run though the inside of the tubing using rubber grommets to seal off were the wires come out,, and it dont rust out, i have trailers out there that are over 40 years old, and still solid as the day they were built, when you weld the butt ends solid and cap off all open ends moisture and salt can not get in side, this is were MFG FAIL big time , dont mater what they build them out of, none of there butt end are welded fully, if hardly at all, they stitch weld the ends, and two things happen, all trailers flex and them small weld crack, and salt water gets behind the lips of the c-channel and rots out, look on your trailer were the cross member meet the frame rails, and you will clearly see what i am referring to, also look close in the corners, a 4 sided 3"x5-1/2"x1/2" tubing is by far stronger then a 6 or 6 inch x 3/16" c-channel, and a lot of trailers there main frame is made like an H-beam, but they make the beams up out of plate and flat bar, and they only stitch weld the parts, salt and water gets between and rusts out, the ends of the stitch welds start to crack, unlike log and pulp transport trailers, they build the main frames the same way, but both sides of the seams are welded solid end to end.

@@arnoldromppai5395 Southern Ontario is much different then up there. Salt is heavy, so is the liquid brine. Roads are white in the winter without snow on them. The at freezing temps allow it to be soaking wet all winter and never dry out. No matter what. Water and salt finds its way inside tubing here. As most put screws through the tube somewhere. Boom salt gets in. Wiring holes, anything really. But yes, stitch welded is the bad thing about it all. Any crack, and salt gets into it. And it’s toast. 10 years max and trailers are screwed here if they are tube. I have had to cut too many tongue and tubes off trailers so far it’s not even funny. It’s the Toronto salt belt because of all the freeze thaw cycles we have in a day, and most suck ass at driving, usually blame it on “weather” ffs. C channel flat deck is 20 years old now, and looks brand new still.

When will you add a second pump and and some kind of tailgate that opens and closes hydraulically with a remote? I have 2 of your low pro dumps and thats the only option that can make me more efficient. My trailers see 4 to 5 loads of dirt every day all year-long. It wouldn't take long for that option to pay for itself.

tailgate that opens and closes hydraulically. really dont see a need for such a thing, when you dump the load pushs the gate open, the gate should be designed in a way, that it hinges up high and out of the way for brush, concrete to pass right though with out getting hung up at the top of the gate, and designed so it take very little eight push to swing the gate up and out of the way..

@@523FILMS anyone in Canada need to avoid paint, galvanized trailer.is the only thing that hold up ,, mfg can claim how there paint is put on, but nothing hold back rust is hot dipped zinc, why do you think all commercial fence is all big thick wall pipe hot dipped zinc, trailer mfg ether use tons of c-channal of they build an i-beam out of plate steel and flat bar, and just stitch weld every few inchs a short weld,, , you get bar better strength and flex out of steel tubing, like a 3.5"x5.5"x3/16 then you get out of a factory fab up i-bean 12"x 4" web 3/16" flange 1/2" stitch welded, with tubing also being lighter weight unit and by far stronger and take the needed flex with out problems, i had to repair factory stitch welded up i-beams that weld pop

I like your trailers but, price is a bit high from what research I've done. I bought a MaxxD flatbed w/power up and down and think it's very nice!!! I am looking for a dump and like said, looking towards others due to price even though I like what you offer, just can't afford. But keep up the good building of a nice trailer.

You should make a gas powered hydraulic lift for all the dumps. Even a 5hp Briggs engine probably could easily outperform a battery. A gallon of gas would probably last months of average use as opposed to only a few dumps with a battery.

Do i talk to the dealer, so that i can derate the 14.9k trailer. Alot of 3/4 ton trucks now a days are over 11.1 k gvwr. I wanted to purchase a 1ton but id have to derate the trailer even more im probably going to buy 3/4 ton with a 11.6 k gvwr so id want to derate it to 14k. I can always overload and deal with dot. i can't deal with dot if my gross combind weight is over 26k. So who do i talk to about derateing the trailer you or the dealer. I know i have to get it derated by the manufacturer.
