The sport will never grow if the coverage stays as difficult to find and concise as it is right now. Who finished 5th? What happened during the race? It's a 4min race, it would truly help everyone if you'd just publish it in its entirety. It's also a whole lot more respectful towards the athletes.

Giving the results away is utter madness. Just label it what event mens and women's etc. you can call it exciting in the title but why give the winner??

Commentary was weird for this race. Not once did they mention the possibility of the world record going down and barely made any reference to how fast the run we were witnessing was.

Because athletes usually don’t try to run this fast this early unless their team is generating buzz about trying to for a world record, it’s not disrespect. If you follow track you’d know that athletes always try to peak specifically during major championships, based on how she reacted it’s likely she wasn’t trying to go that hard either, a welcome surprise nonetheless, she will likely go faster sometime soon

the whole time Tsegay was on track for a possible WR - in April!!! - and the commentators didnt even mention it. Classic IAAF crap commentary. BUT this is served out every event now so im not surprised.
