Agates are what anyone can find along the last 10 miles of the Rogue River, in Oregon. They are on the gravel bars. People ask what I do, & I say I ..."hit the Bars at 6 am daily". They gasp! I say, "Lobster Bar, Orchard Bar, Huntley Bar... ", etc. Then they laugh! Finding Jasper is also among the river rocks. Enjoy your videos! Keep showing what Geologists like to do every day. 😊

It's beautiful! For something no bigger than a freckle, you sure have great eye sight. Good for you! But I think I'll stay on the porch with your ice cold glass of sweet tea just waiting for you. That's a whole lot of digging for your special prize. Wish I had your energy young man! Congratulations!

Really interesting! Been thinking about taking a trip down there and have learned a lot from watching your videos. Ever think about putting small tarps around your hole to throw the dirt on to make it fast and easy to fill the hole back in by just pulling the tarp towards your hole! Anyhow great content as always. Cheers!

Wow and congrats. You were close on the years, but I know who and when those buckets were put there. You stumbled upon a marker that was left by the legend, "Diamond Jim", James archer. That was during the summer of 2002. I was digging just up from that spot and asked James if he could help me dig out the gravel I had just found. James put the buckets there for markers and I helped him fill it in. We dug something like 70-80 buckets of gravel from my spot and found quite a few diamonds after washing all of it. I guess James never went back to dig out that gravel. Rest in peace James. Love and miss you brother. Lone Wolf......

The closest thing I can get to to search for treasures in gravel is my neighbors driveways and an empty lot where an antique store burned down.....oh ....and where my next door neighbor dumped her pots with rocks in the bottom ! LOL Amazingly, I have found some really good stuff !! I found a big faceted diamond (I think) hiding behind a board in the empty lot ! Wish me luck...😃
