I gave up on all of the rulers once I discovered square drills line up much easier when I multiplace.

I understand the placement of the Ruler. But what I can figure out is, once you place all the drill within the Ruler and you remove the Ruler you still have drills that need placed. So how does that work?

You will have to place them with either a single placer or a 3 placer. The ruler gives you a good straight base to work off of when filling in the rest. So because of the drills you placed with the ruler will be perfectly straight, the ones you fill in will be straight as well.

I don't understand when you pick up the ruler how to do the letters that are underneath you know in the spaces left open does that making sense? Like with my round ruler I can put the ruler on top of the ones that I already did and that'll help me to do the Open Spaces but with the square I have all these Open Spaces

The square ruler is used more for a guide, a ruler to keep them straight. The drills that are placed with the ruler down are done in a way that enables the foundation of the drill field to be straight. Then when you pull The ruler off what is left is a small plus symbol, five drills in total in each space that are easily fit in between the drills that have already been placed.
