The more that I learn about card deceptions, the more beautiful those deceptions become, and the more I watch you executing those deceptions, the more I fall in love with them. This channel is a real diamond that teaches not just magic but a beautiful art form. Dear Daniel Madison, My name is Jacob, a wannabe card magician as insane as you are. You've been a major inspiration to me since 2017. I've watched many, nearly all, your videos on trying to improve my magic. Your teaching has extremely helped me with being distracted and away from my anxiety and fears. And every time I'd master a move that you'd teach, I'd go around showing them to my friends and painting smiles on their faces. Fank you so much for always being a channel i could watch that not only helps me improve in magic, but for also boosting my confidence, lowering my anxiety bar, making me smile and for always uploading. Your channel has really opened up another level of cardistry that's been hidden within me. I hope with all my heart that i somehow manage to win because I've always wanted personalised decks made by you.. if that didn't make you smile then here's some corny joke that hits my funny bone a lot. What's the difference between a lightbulb and a pregnant woman? Answer: you can unscrew a lightbulb 😂 Thank you again Daniel for everything that you've done and i hope you prosper and have an amazing day ahead of you. Much love, Jacob ❤

I’ve heard you talk about the people that say your videos are to long. Man they have no idea. I am a rookie at this stuff. It can take me two hours to watch one of your videos cause I’ll practice stuff you show then move to the next step. I break your stuff down to stages and practice practice practice until I feel comfortable. I’ll break them down watch them over and over again pick them a part to catch every little detail. I’ll watch one of your videos every day several times and practice every move. Sometime I wish they were longer. You have taught me so much. I perform mostly for kids at a local school I go to visit and with your stuff I fool the teachers. They ask me how I do it. I couldn’t do what I do without the videos you show. Don’t listen to those people cause they obviously don’t really want to learn.

I thought that telling a joke or something funny would end up being a bit lame, instead I thought that I should just tell you how important you’ve been in me learning magic. I’m only 16 but I’ve been trying to learn sleight of hand and card magic for almost 4 years but have never been able to perform for anyone but my parents. Even though I haven’t performed what I learn, I look forward to your uploads, watch every video the whole way through to improve, and I do. I see myself getting better and better every single time because you make the best tutorials on sleight of hand out there, and I love to learn from you. 4 years or so ago I bought my first deck which was a deck of rounders and I keep that in a very special place to remind me of where I started and how far you can go when you put your mind to something. And I can only really thank (fank) you for that, inspiring me, pushing me, challenging me, improving me as a magician and as a person. I just hope some day I can do what you do, walk in your footsteps and do magic as a career, you’re my idol. Fanks Daniel!

Thank you, Daniel. I know I, among others, greatly appreciate what you do for the magic community and the art of deception. But, I would also like to thank you for those of us who come back to your channel time and time again just to see you. KZbin, as a platform, has become cluttered with so much shit, and negativity, and false realities of who people are and what their life is really like. But in that bottomless pit of content that we call KZbin your work stands out. You've become this beam of positivity to those of us who watch your content, and what's so captivating is that you're not trying to pretend you're something you're not. You're not trying to be one of these dickheads online that are trying to get internet famous by doing stupid shit that is just outrages enough to be clickable. The reason your content is so valuable and the reason that your subscribers and your fans love your work is that we trust you. Unlike most of the people on KZbin, your opinion is valuable, Hell your content and your opinions and advice is the reason I passed my 12th grade English class. I'm not much of a writer, but I wrote an essay on the different styles of magic and you were the main subject of the paper. I got an A and that's because the way you make your content is so compelling and inspiring that it makes your viewers give a shit, about you, your work, and the magic community as a whole. I put so much heart into that paper because I actually cared and I was passionate about the topic, and you as well as Chris Ramsay and other influential magic figures have instilled that passion in me. Regardless I know it probably looks like I'm writing this to win the giveaway, and to a degree that's correct, but it doesn't make my words any less true. But either way, FANX Daniel, we love what you do, and don't ever change.

Thank you so much for not only this trick and video, but the way you do all of your work here. Everything you’ve ever taught is done with obvious passion and love, and to those who truly understand the dedication it takes to be that good, we love the fact that your tutorials are “long.” So I want to add a bit more. The detail is necessary for any serious magician. It honestly separates those who truly respect the art form and appreciate the intricacies bc we practice it and love it, vs those who just want to know the method but aren’t willing to put in the time. That attitude will kill magic. Fanx for taking a stand against it. To make an effect like Diamond look the way you do in performance is years of meticulous practice. That in a nutshell is why you’re among my favorite magicians and magic teachers. This is hands down my favorite channel on KZbin on the magic end. I’ve studied it for over 20 years. Effects ad powerful as the ones you teach in this kind of detail almost always cost money. Period. Your videos are the perfect length and you are appreciated brother. Fanx 🙏🏻

There was once an Italian magician, his name was Matteo Lupoi, and he had his own style of magic! One of his favourite effect was angle Z, with a twist! He used to make the angle appear in the crust of the participant pizza or sausage (we make the best)! He loved to hide cards in gamblers cop, but no one in Italy believed him, everyone knows that italians keep the fingers of their hands 24/7 together, you probably know what I’m talking about, so he kept the gamblers cop while his hand was in standard Italian position. And no one doubted his tenkai palm, for everyone his hand was just natural! And I’ll tell you the biggest secret of Italian magician, the know really well how to vanish anything because of mafia! Italians can vanish cards almost as good as mafia make problems and people vanish! But please don’t tell anyone. That magician is me!!!! Daniel, you really are more than a teacher, you’re a mentor and I’d love to join the Malliance, I was so surprised by your generosity and of course your skill. You transmitted me the passion for magic and the importance of practice, even though I’m much much younger than you. And most importantly you inspire me to stand out and be the only versione of myself, of Matteo Lupoi. Mad love and respect from Italy!

I used to be heavily in to performing magic and card tricks until about 2 years ago things got a little stail, the love just wasn't there and I had no satisfaction for performing magic, that was until I found this channel back in November, this channel really changed back magic to the way I used to enjoy it and the way I used to love it, everything I learn on this channel gives me nostalgia to when I first started and learned my first card trick, so I do appreciate and thank you for teaching us and reminding me of those old days

I've been watching your videos for a year now, but it feels like I've known you for years or at least you know me (I mean like a personality).Although I love your tutorials, My favourite videos of yours are those you talk about your approach to life and how to deal with our problems and demons. As every person I got my own problems and struggle avery day and those videos really helped me to go through all this staff that were going on. I don't know if this will make you smile, but I really wanted to thank you for what you have done to and helped me even though you don't know me personally.FANX.MAD LOVE.

Your videos always inspire me to do better and practice more. Whenever I’m feeling down I throw up one of your tutorials and learn something new. I can honestly say that I wouldn’t have gotten into magic like I did if you weren’t doing what you are doing, and it’s always been a blessing for me even in the darkest moments. So, FANX for everything you do, and keep up the good work!

Doubtlessly this was the most valuable tutorial you've given for free. Yet the final thought is of an even greater value. Thank you for remaining true to yourself, and thank you for sharing your art.

That is one of the most beautiful Sleight of Hand performances I have ever seen. I have noticed this act in the Bottom Deal Masterclass but I always looked at it as another cool Bottom Deal routine and always prefered Above the Below and 3 important Things for my Bottom Deal routines but after this video my opinion has change so much, this might be my favorite deception of all time. For sure the most beautiful. I'm doing this routine now at least 10 times a day FANX so much for the inspiration.

Daniel good man. You are spot on about youtube trolls. They suck. It's truly the toll we pay them, to endure their negativity. I love all your videos of all lengths. I don't always have the time to watch it in one sitting but that means I have content for a few days. The detail makes you a philosopher level of a deception artist. That is what makes something so obvious as this, so unassuming to the lay person. The philosophy behind each action and the mental process broken down. You rock, keep going Madison Strong.

Thanks for the amazing trick. I decided to give magic a try mid last december and while searching for magic tutorials, I stumbled upon yours and it has helped me a lot. I really like the art of sleight of hand. Not only it amazes the people I perform in front of but it also amazes me as well when I'm learning it. Your videos not only helped improve my magic, it also caused me to say Fanx instead of thanks sometimes.

Not sure if this puts a smile on your face, but when my 12 year old son and I watch your videos it puts one on ours. And puts a bigger one on mine when I see him holding a single playing card between his fingers and spins himself while falling to the ground. Thank you Daniel for your teachings and your content.

FANX for these tutorials and even your performances over the years! I've been wanting tutorials with that are more skill-based for a while now, and ever since you've come along I've been pushed and bettered with my magic and my performances. You've given me a lot to practice, think about, and strive for. Please keep the amazing content coming!

Hey Daniel! Wanna say I appreciate how well you explain all your videos and the time that you put into each one. Not just on youtube, but any dvds or tutorials I have boughten from you are very lengthy and go so in depth on that certain trick or sleight. You're probably the only magician on KZbin that I have seen that goes so in depth on even your free content so I can walk away feeling like I know everything I need to when it comes to whatever you're teaching. Anyways, just wanted to say I appreciate everything you're doing and keep it up.

I have hours worth of your videos that I have purchased to learn. A lot of what you taught in this one I already have, yet I watched trying to glean any more knowledge from a master. I now know how you did the trick on Penn and Teller. All I have to say about the people who complain about the length of the video is they don't really want to learn technique to create, they want to learn tricks to just fool their friends and in the end they end of making a fool of themselves. I ran into one of them the other day. I done a trick for him and after bragging about how he could get a card to the top of the deck. I used the same trick he described and blew his mind because he didn't even see it. He was so focused on learning tricks he wasn't learning technique.

35 years practicing magic/mentalism/card mechanics...dear universe, every time I start leaning from one of your tutorials, whether it’s from here, or as far back as the Dangerous release, perhaps longer: my old hands want to slap you into your trademark spin-to-floor.... Thank you for sharing your knowledge and for your patient instruction on this platform! Stay safe, say hi to Charlie for me....

I've started to practice card tricks last year. I've enjoyed it, especially the people reaction, but after a mounth or two, I've dropped the idea and stopped learning, as I felt I wasn't good enough. But after I saw preview of this on your youtube channel, I knew it's time to get back. Thanks Daniel for motivation, your videoes were always huge inspiration.

Those that complain about the length of your magic tutorials have no appreciation for the theory, the subtleties, & the psychology that turn a card trick into true magic.

Chris Ramsay got me into magic where his tutorials were soo good and i always loved to know more and more about it but then he stopped for his better reasons and i was then searching for someone (and ik about the other good too cant deny that) who would keep captivating to watch videos with all the small details just like explaining to a friend, i truly found that from you! FANX MAN FOR IT! Recently finished reading Magic is Dead...man oh man its SOO DAMN GOOD to know more about you guys on very personal level! Fanx to giving away to the community soo much! Keep doing the great work!

Thanks for helping me cope. When I got home from Afghanistan, I didn’t have much to do because my friends were either KIA or still overseas. I needed something to do, so I picked up magic. I’ve learned a lot from your Master Class and How To Cheat At Poker. Thank you for inspiring me to be a better person.
