I like how as a newcomer to magic, i can tell you're doing something since it's a magic trick, can tell when what you had to do was done, yet still have no idea what the move itself is because of how cleanly and naturally you're doing it. One of countless that said it, but for me i truly feel like you've left a print in the magic industry and succeeded in being unique rather than just being like your typical IS THAT YOUR CARD magician, i know you still feel like you have so much to come up with and achieve, so best of luck and thanks for sharing these videos with us, it truly means a lot ♡

What in the name of Suzy Sausage!? I love that you're revisiting this. I especially love the more difficult sleight. For my longer than normal hands and fingers, it's immensely easier. The only thing bothering me is that I'm a card magic lefty. If I try to mirror this for an easy riffle, pinky break, there are no indices. I have to do it upside down with a weird flip or find another way.

Would it help out if we ask for a different playing card of opposite color? That way the black card pops against the red on the spread. Or is it better to just allow a completely random choice?
@DANIELmadison3 жыл бұрын
That's a great point, I only ever hope that the opposite colour is named, you can take a lot away from a trick if you take away any fraction of their potential perceived 'freedom.'
@davidmurphy90493 жыл бұрын
That makes a lot of sense. I tried the effect on my family and used the 9♣️, their thought of card was the 7♠️. Visually, it didn't pop as well. Maybe I should go with the line "don't choose the most commonly selected cards like a lucky # 7 and leave it like that. I wouldn't want to miss out on some of the common ones like the Q❤️K♦️ or an Ace. Oh! How about using a Joker? That would stand out anywhere if a "not so visually" reveal card place is chosen. Hmmm 🤔

I absolutely love this trick and how fair it is. One question I have is what if they name a playing card that is too close to the bottom or top of the deck like the two of spades? Should I do the trick as normal or should I do something different since it might not be as impressive if the 9 of clubs is too close to the bottom or top of the deck at the end of the trick?

What do y'all think? I just had a happy accident. If you have two participants freely select two cards. They stack their cards and you riffle down and have them call stop. Put the 2 cards packet halfway in. Then as you push the cards I. Split the two selections with your pinky and do a pass or shift thus putting both participants cards on top and bottom. I'm a rookie but I'm jus saying maybe it could be a sort of double control?. Merry Christmas Y'all! Thanks D. Mad!
