Thank you for the WIP and chat, Katie! It doesn't really matter to me what is used on the diamond paintings. I can do letters, numbers, and symbols. I prefer that they are not too similar, like S and 5 or B and 8. Unless they are completely different colors. Hope you have a great week!

I love alphanumeric personally! The large kit I'm working on goes from A to P. Different symbols are okay but too hard for me to track. Still, love the WIP and chat and last week's chat made me understand Autism better and know to respect those people with those special needs!🌸

I hear you on the end of school meetings with teachers I have two with dyslexia. It was so hard to listen to how the tests scored my kiddos. It's next to impossible not to take it as a personal insult. Middle school was just about the end of all of us. 😢 But we all made it through!! IEP meetings are also hard on teachers. It is hard to tell parents that their children need help in order to be successful in school, or to stand up for students who no longer need the help but their parents want them to stay in special ed. It is especially stressful when a meeting is scheduled with a parent who yells and bullies the teachers.

Thank you for your Monday WIP & Chats. It's typically the best part of my Monday. You do a real service for so many people. I've only been diamond painting since January and have only recently recognized that there's a difference between what I like to look at and what I will want to work on. Right now I'm working on Capricorn by Dakota Daetwiler and there's just too much color blocking. And I've realized that is not for me. So now I'm looking for kits that don't have that even though they may not be my first choice. I guess I just need confetti! The new Margaret Morales would suit me! Heia 🤗 I live alone in a small apartment, so I don't have use or space for a huge table, so I bought a Cafe sett (1 small round table and 2 small chair) and then I went to the hardware store and got a MDF sheet (60 x100 cm) to have on top. And it works amazing!!! It is big enough to do all my hobbies on, and if the need arrives, I can sett it up against the wall😀 Thanks as always for a great video and for keeping me company while I was working on my first conversion 🥰 🌼 Best wishes from Norway 🤗🤗🤗

Hi Katie. I’m working on Richard Lorenz Gladis - My Kind of Crazy. Tons of white and color blocking and I’m having fun working on it. It’s only taking me a little over one week so far. It’s round and fun. I finished the whole TOG series audiobooks. Read Assassins Blade last which was fine. Next - CreScent City. I’m actually finding it fun to go back and re-listen to the TOG books now that I understand more stuff. Anywho. Happy early Mothers Day from one mother to another (friend Mothers). 💐

You kept me company during breakfast and a little bit of diamond painting before work. Unfortunately I had to cut my diamond painting short because I'm in Oklahoma City and we have a high risk of violent tornadoes and hail. The Dallas Fort Worth area tends to have similar weather to us. Because the DAC warehouse is located in Dallas their delays may be weather related. My emergency bag is all packed should the worst happen but praying it doesn't manifest.

Being a bit older and I don't see as well as I used to, so alphanumeric symbols don't bother me. Plus I've only been diamond painting for a little over a year so that may be a factor. I get more frustrated with similar symbols placed next to each other. Can't wait for your logbook flip through.

This is a cute kit, Katie! Can you please help me understand why you tend to use wax in your single placer and putty in your multi placer?

Totally personal preference! I find that putty is less fussy and lasts longer for me in my multiplacer than wax, and I prefer the texture of wax in my single placer.

I'm very new to diamond painting. I've enjoyed your videos and have gotten many great tips and ideas! My first painting I ordered from Diamond Painting Pro bc I loved the picture and colors! But I've never seen this company mentioned in any of the videos I've watched. I was very pleased. The drills came in labeled ziplock bags, barely any trash, very sticky canvas, and most paintings are offered in 4 sizes and choice of drills. They do take a while to receive after ordering, but I assume that's bc they might custom make the kit according to the size and drill choice. Do you know anything about them?

Hi! I haven’t heard of them, but I looked up their shop and noticed that they had a few artworks from artists that I recognized and I know are exclusively licensed with other shops, and weren’t credited on this shop either, so the artwork is most likely unlicensed (if that’s something that’s important to you!) It’s always nice to have a good experience with a kit you’ve bought, either way! ☺️

I would love a video on munimade trays. Like what each colors or special comes in matte, shimmer, shiny, silk. I'm new and everything I buy is all different. It makes it hard to purchase again not knowing what your getting. it's expensive to order a $25 tray and then matte and u wanted silk. Can you help with that and maybe some other brands. I just don't want to post because I don't want to say bad about one type compared to another. I wanted to be more of this is the difference between A &B .

I'm so sorry to bother you. I know your busy, but I have asked this question in their group and I'm not getting any answers to what I really want to know. I'm sorry I'm super picky and detail oriented. And in every description of each tray none of them tell you what it's made out of. I know the matte ones aren't the best for perfect lines and on my shimmer sometimes the drills stick. But to spend $25 to $ 30 a tray I want to know and understand what I'm getting being new at this is frustrating. And other companies as well same thing nowhere does it say what the trays are made of. When munimade says shiny it does not say silk. Thanks in advance if you can help me understand
