Fall is my favorite time of the year. We have a camper and getting my family together for a Saturday campfire on the last weekend of the season and then Sunday we clean up all the leaves and pine needles. I know it is clean up but it is our fall tradition. Love having them with us now that they are older. 🍁🎃🍂❤️

Hi Katie & Fellow Diamond Painters! My favourite season is fall & my favourite thing about fall is I get to wear clothes with Thumbholes in the cuffs of my long sleeve shirts, sweaters & jackets, I'm obsessed, lol. I love the smell of Apple Pie , Pumpkin Pie & Pecan Pie flowing through our home on a cool fall day while my daughters & I baked a lot together during fall, we'd bake for peoe in the community that weren't able to access to home-made baked goods & goodies.. Halloween is my favourite day in fall. My girls & I used to dress up every year in elaborate rented costumes, we all enjoyed matching themes & trick or treating.. We used to load the van with kids that didn't have parents that could take them out & have a blast singing along with the kids while driving street to street. What fond memories that I soon will hopefully start with my Grandchildren. I do also love watching the leaves change colours & fall off the tress.

When we lived in the East Coast, our favorite Fall tradition was going out and taking pictures of all the colorful leaves around the neighborhood. Now that we’re in California, where there aren’t that many leaves changing, we do the pumpkin patch and hay rides with our daughter. 🍁🎃

Because I have a child that is obsessed with all things halloween most of our traditions revolve around that holiday, however I've been able to sneak in a few fall traditions. We always go on hay ride looking at the change of leaf colors, enjoying the cooler weather. We also start enjoying hot cocoa drinks this time of year when the weather is nice and cool in the morning.

When I was younger, my grandmother always took me and my cousins to the pumpkin patch to pick out some pumpkins. After we would go back to her house and paint on our pumpkins. She would always display them on her front porch so it was fun to see them whenever we visited.

Our fall tradition started when my son was about 3 (when he was old enough to not be afraid), and actually happened last weekend, we went to a local farm and picked pumpkins. The farm goes all out they have a ton of Halloween decorations all over including huge blowups and giant statues, a Halloween bounce house, a corn maze, and games. The memories are lovely and we feel great because we get to support a local farm.

Our fall tradition has always going to our Fall Festival. It is our local fair that we have once a year the first week of October. We have pageants, traditional foods, traditional activities, a parade and an exhibit hall with traditional art work and food. There are also regular fair things such as rides and fair foods. Almost our whole tribe participates and it’s a good week to see everyone and get caught up. That’s my favorite fall tradition 🍂🍁

I grew up in a country with just the summer and rainy season, no Fall season. So we did not have any Fall tradition. But once we moved to Canada, we just like to go around the parks and take photos of the trees with their beautiful Fall colours.

I didn’t have fall traditions when growing up, so made some up with my kids, grand kids and now great grands. Mostly consisting of having Halloween party with the kids and their friends. Crafts, snacks and games. Kids and I spend all of October making decorations and decorating the house for the big day.

Our fall tradition(s) when my kids were growing up started in AZ where we would drive to one of a few pumpkin farms where the weather was slightly cooler & pick out a pumpkin, walk the corn maze, feed the animals-my toddler at the time had his fingers munched by a goat😮, browse the shop, take a hay ride, & drink some hot cider. Then we moved to CA and we would drive to Apple orchards where we tasted many different varieties and purchased our favorites. Eating bbq corn was a very memorable experience as well. Now our kids are grown and we live across the country and these days I enjoy the crisp autumn air and the colors ever changing all around me. Best time of year!🍂🍎🍏

Another thing I like to do when it starts getting cooler in the fall is start baking Homemade breads. Soups, Roasts, you know all the yummy foods that come with cooler weather.

Our fall traditions have evolved over the years. We used to collect pine cones, colourful leaves and various gourds to create a centrepiece for our harvest table. My little miss birthday is on the 13th of October. In Canada our Thanksgiving/Harvest dinner generally falls around that time. We enjoy fresh pumpkin pies. Autumn is definitely our favourite season as it brings along all the cozy factors (sweater weather, tights, hiking boots and crisp cool air)

With my family we’ve always gone for a long ride to enjoy the changing leaves while stopping to get seasonal produce at farm stands and selecting our pumpkins for carving! We still do a variation of that now but I’ve added a corn maze with my fiancé and going to a lovely place called White House Fruit Farms for their festivities and autumn themed donuts with my best friend. We host a different themed fall party every year, pumpkin patch and corn maze with our kiddo, family pictures and decorating with fall/spooky ambience music playing in the background 🥰. I also like to watch creepy movies the whole season as well!
