I went to my local Michaels yesterday and they had a few of the Halloween kits they had the witch, the haunted house, the fall one with the pumpkins, and the light up jack o lantern. I picked up the haunted house because each year in October I go to my local haunted trail and the way the trail is set up is that they have different mini haunted houses you walk through so seeing the haunted house reminded me of that.

Lovely haul Katie! Those pumpkins at the end look so fun! My best guess for the french is because Make Market sells the same stock in US and Canada. Canada has a bilingual law so both of our official languages are on all products.

Thanks for showing these Katie!! I ended up ordering Witch Girl because before you even said anything it reminded me of Wicked so I knew I wanted it immediately lol!! I also got Haunted House, Black Cat and Forest Pumpkin!! They were so unbelievably inexpensive, and then the 20% off on top of it was a huge plus!! These will be nice to do in between my main Drills and Chills project, if I can wait that long lol, I’m so ready for Fall!!

I got that 3d pumpkin and I did a small section of it and it looks amazing so far! The glue dries in about 5 minutes so you don’t have to wait too long.

I’m not a Halloween fan, but it’s cool to see them making progress. My very first kit was make market. I was at Michael’s the other day and a lot of the older kits were on clearance for about seven dollars, even large ones.

I’ve picked up three of these this year! I’m not sure which I want to do for Drills and Chills because they are all fantastic. The inclusion squares in this run of kits has me excited for their Christmas releases. I’m hoping the pens in the smaller magnetic hanger kits are a sign they are going to start adding them to more kits, and that they’ll make more festive ones for Christmas, and next Halloween.

Went immediately and ordered the black cat one for pickup. I have four black kitties and had to have it. Love that it has the magnetic frames. Also wanted to let you know dreamers changed their canvas to a soft back and it’s no longer color saturated 😊

These kits are great and I am so impressed that Micheal’s has really expanded their offerings from last year. I did a Make Market kit last year for Drills and Chills and loved it. I purchased a kit this weekend that was already low in stock. I’m looking forward to Drills and Chills this year!

You can unscrew the tips! Unfortunately they’re a different sized screw than the DAC screw in tips but they are very secure, as you saw. K and I have tried them out and he likes the tips fine. I find them too big for squares but liked it for rounds. I’m just used to multi placing more than 3 drills at a time so I found it kind of small, lol. I have heard that if you email Michael’s customer support they’ll try to track the DMC codes down for you, and a couple people have shared DMC codes on Reddit. I haven’t actually tried as I don’t save Michaels drills 🙈 Anyway, thank you for sharing all these. I didn’t realize that Michaels had square drill kits out and I’m definitely going to grab one before they sell out.

I went and bought the kit with the pen. The tips are twist on, but its the skinnier bolt. So not as compatible with standard twist tips. The 4 placer is pretty thick as well. Thanks for sharing!

I got pumpkin tablescape and then black cat for the pen haha. The tips unscrew, or at least the multi end did for me. It has 3 dots on it so I figured it was a 3 not a 4 like you said. Definitely curious how the 3d will work.

Loved this haul!! So fun. The French is probably bc they use the same packaging in both the US and Canada. All packaging has to have English and French bc we are bilingual :) I did one of the Halloween kits last year with the glow-in-the-dark drills and you could see the red printing on the canvas through them. From far away you can’t tell but it’s pretty obvious from up close. Maybe they’ve made some adjustments for this year’s kits!

Hey Katie!! For the potion, I think your idea would work just not with trying to spell out a different word. You would just kind of have to put the drills in a “censored” version. Just drill over most of the tag.

I’ll be hitting up Michaels this week to check out these kits. Wanted to share that besides being different colors, the make market waxes are scented. I got the floral and the fruit sets. It’s a good standard wax and the scents just make them fun.

I just got the Witch Girl yesterday and I totally agree that it reminds me of Wicked! So this is my brain being weird, but could you color the Unicorn Blood tag with a black sharpie and then use the extra glue and put black drills on it? Might be too much work though lol. 😂

I have a small comment about your gray Matt that you have in the background it's distorting the image and it's making it unpleasant to look upon I think the diamond paintings are beautiful but it made it difficult to watch the video because all I could see are the gray wavy lines that the gray Mat is making on the camera image.
