I was listening and watching When she practice this song with her voice teacher and Diana seems to be picking up twist, yodel and going up and down everything and the teacher love her verymuch and she become an important person in her family. Westerners really need to hear the original to give it some context since it's something very, very few women would ever try to attempt. As you already know It's a legendary Russian song by Vladimir Vysotsky. Agreed. What an amazing performance that is. Elizabeth mentioned in the review of Blizzard how sincere a performer Diana was. She'll be dumbstruck by this! I must confess that 'fastidious' and 'finicky' don't seem good translations - other commentators or translators suggest 'capricious' or 'wilful'.

That is an amazing performance, but I also don’t agree that it should be Elizabeth’s next reaction though. I think that the next reaction should be a comparison video, like her reaction to the Diva Dance, of Tomorrow Is A Lie. It is originally a Lara Fabian song, but Diana has a performance on stage with Igor Krutoy. Lara is excellent, as always, but this might be one of the best examples for showing of Diana’s stage presence. I think this is her best performance of the song, it was recorded on her 15th birthday (yes, she would rather be on stage than celebrating), it is from the same concert as Elizabeth’s reaction to Derniere Danse (so professional audio and video recording) and Diana admits to Igor that she was very nervous for this performance (note: Elizabeth mentioned how previously how she doesn’t think Diana is ever scared on stage, well here is an example of how a person just can’t tell that Diana is working through fear.
