The singers rate each other, so it ends up more like Survivor where they gang up on the strong players so they can stay close in the standings. It's more of a variety TV show than a singing competition.

I think the 'Survivor' analogy is appropriate. There is a lot of "strategic voting" that seems to have nothing to do with the performances. Diana says she doesn't see the show as a competition but the others certainly do. They want to win it, to help their careers and gain commercial endorsements. Diana is a bit naive with respect to all that.

Another incredible performance by Diana Ankudinova, she's just miles ahead of the rest vocally. Folk songs are her bread and butter. :) She tied for 1st place with Mark Tishman. She was also extremely humble and wanted Mark's encore played at the end instead of hers. Just a wonderful human being.

It's her style indeed, and that could become a problem for the premise of this show. She has to cram her cyclopean skillset in predetermined boxes (musical genres).
