Paris, France August 31st 1997. At the back door of the Ritz Hotel four people get into a black Mercedes sedan. One of those people is the most famous woman in the world… Princess Diana.
Often described as the worlds most photographed woman, Princess Diana lived and died through the camera and ultimately the public’s lens. In her whirlwind life and premature death, the paparazzi were never far behind.

Diana showed her heart to the people worldwide. She wasn't afraid to be herself, a caring , intelligent, a rare gem of our hearts. Because Diana was an outstanding & iconic woman. The Paparazi and News Papers Caused So Much Damage for the Queen of Our Heart's, by Not Giving Lady Diana & The Royal Family , The Privacy That They Deserved. My thoughts and prayers are always with Prince William & Prince Harry. May God Bless Us All.

I was watching this and s started crying myself. I'm not one to cry much, but to see those poor faces and such sorrow it just made me hurt. Not that she was a demigod, but she was one who did what a lot of us should be doing that she loved people without asking for love. The timeline makes you want to grab out and say, don't go that way. It took way too long for the ambulance and drs. Two hrs to get to hospital and work on her? Not even Jesus could get away from the paparazzi. Now I need to get a handkerchief.

I agree. Frankly, I'm convinced that Diana was murdered. You don't drag your ass when ANYONE needs to get to a hospital less than 30 minutes away, let alone the Princess of Wales.

Elizabeth did not want to give Diana a proper funeral. She was shamed into doing it. That's the charecter of the person the queen really was. They completely forgot about that when the queen died. I refused to watch. She was a hard corn cob old lady. There wasn't a sweet, kind bone in her body.

@@glen7318 Don't be ignorant. The queen did not want any kind of state funeral but bowed to public pressure because at that point the level of anger amongst the public at the way Diana had been treated was palpable. if you were even alive at that point you would easily remember that.

there was no reason for the queen to have anything to do with her funeral, it was up to her Spencer family and they considered a private funeral but realised taht the public response to her deaht was such that they could not have a private funeral... so they wroked with the Royal household to organise a public one@@JW-br5nd

Well done, this made me cry. I think so many of us could relate to Diana, I know I can as her and I were the same age, got married in the same year, both of us had similar childhoods which lead us to marry a cheater and a narcissist.

My marriage only lasted 7 years so I understood Diana’s pain because she was obviously used by the Royal system to breed children & discarded by her husband when that was achieved. It sickens me to my stomach when I see Camilla trying to look regal but she will never have Diana’s both internal & external beauty & she can only fake at being regal. Even her step grandchildren & Catherine snubbed her & didn’t curtsy to her at the coronation. Respect is earned & she’s a long way from being respected by many people. If she outlives Charles God help her because she doesn’t have many friends in the Royal Family either. I believe Harry when he’s talked about Camilla being in league with the press & planting stories about Megan & him. She then has tried to push her own children forward but Charles has blocked her.

This was an assassination which refused to be covered up. We may not know the details now but with time, possible death bed confessions, release of restricted documents, etc the broad story, the actors and their parts will be exposed. Sadly the guilty will be beyond earthly punishment but God sees all and he will judge and punish as appropriate. Diana was probably the most loved woman in the world at the time of her death and this was reflected in the public mourning. She was a real and significant threat to the monarchy and she had to go to ease Charles way into kingship and a new marriage to his long standing mistress. Charles should submit to dna paternity testing to prove or disprove the claims of his suppposedly 2 illigitamate children. History is written by the victor. This episode will likely be no different. RIP Diana, still our queen of hearts.

Well yes, I hate the paparazzi for what they do & who they are…..they stalked/hunted Diana & never left her alone. It’s no way to live & they’ve done this to many celebrities though Diana was their biggest target- it was horrible. However, despite their despicable behavior, even on the night of her death, they were NOT responsible for death that night. The Fiat Uno that clipped Diana’s car & other forces were responsible for her death. In my opinion, a deliberate “hit job” & it has all the hallmarks of hits that have been done before to political figures worldwide: it’s nothing new.

Yet another whitewash. This is how history gets revised for the next generation. This crash was a hit job most likely carried out by one or more of the intelligence agencies. The paparazzi, on scooters, were way behind the Mercedes which was actually being pursued and fenced in by several high powered black motorbikes and another large dark sedan which forced the Mercedes into the tunnel. The alternative slip road was blocked. Henri Paul was not drunk and Diana's seatbelt was jammed and unusable Both of the doctors in the ambulance worked for MI6. Even the eventual inquest held TEN YEARS later, with not even all of the evidence and with a compromised coroner, failed to call it an accident.

@magdap379

The details of the night of her death definitely don’t add up. I watched all documentaries available on it and I have so many questions still! Like, I understand that the only survivor, Trevor Rees Jones, had his face smashed in and doesn’t remember anything from the accident but he could clarify everything from right before! The fact that nobody else but him was wearing a seatbelt was obviously his oversight! Also, if Henry Paul was so intoxicated that he could barely stand (as the blood tests report) why would the bodyguard ever allow him to drive two VIP’s anywhere in that state? If he was the protection officer and the driver had a few too many, wouldn’t he just be like “It looks like you had a few drinks, sorry we called you back on duty, maybe I should drive?” From that angle it definitely looks like a security failure and that’s why some thought that Muhammad Al Fayed extended the Diana assassination theory, to take the blame off of himself and his crappy security team, who were not equipped to handle anyone with the kind of fame and media hounding that Diana had. But that still doesn’t explain why it took almost 2 hours to get Diana to the hospital, which was 15 minutes away, while passing 2 other hospitals that also had emergency wards equipped to handle vehicular trauma victims! Supposedly the ambulance kept stopping because her blood pressure kept dropping and they were trying to stabilize her? Why weren’t the EMT’s from that night questioned? I’m not even close to a medical professional and even I know that the best place for an accident victim to be in is a hospital, any hospital, where they can properly assess your internal injuries and perform an emergency surgery right away - not an hour and 45 minutes later! I don’t know how they do things in France but I’d hate to get into an accident in that country, if that’s how they treat people! Their inquest into Diana’s death was pathetic, and the English inquest took 9 years! Way after all the evidence was expired. Everyone knows that the worst crime scene destroyer is time - which brings me to another point - why was the Alma Tunnel scrubbed, washed with street washing detergent and reopened within hours of the crash? Wouldn’t that destroy super important forensic evidence?? Why would the French do that? It just seems like France is super incompetent at literally everything they do - getting medical help for the victims and investigating the crime! The EMT’s that night should have been charged with negligence, Trevor Rees Jones too, the metropolitan Paris Police as well - because all of those people apparently sucked at their jobs! Now, about the white Fiat Uno that supposedly belonged to the paparazzo James Andonson, which clipped Diana’s Mercedes right before it careened into the 13th pillar under the Alma tunnel. James did contract work for government agencies since he was ex special ops turned celebrity photographer. They never did find that white Fiat Uno. But they did find James. In a field. He apparently committed suicide in a car. He was found with 2 bullet holes to his head and his car was set on fire. Correct me if I’m wrong, but it only takes one bullet to the temple to commit suicide? How you shoot yourself twice in the head and THEN set fire to your car is beyond me. Again, this was investigated by the French police and they ruled it a suicide! (How does that idiotic country even function??). Diana was not pregnant, they tested her blood (sorry Mohammad). And she was not about to get engaged to Dodi (the ring was a present, not a proposal). We know this because all of her friends and servants said that she was just using Dodi and this highly publicized vacation to make Hasnat Khan jealous - the heart surgeon who she’s been seeing for 2 years out of the public eye, who had just broken up with her (because he was a private, professional man, a doctor, who didn’t want to be hounded by the press).
