You see how well spoken this woman is in front of a live show in a foreign country. She represents herself very well & comes across as very personable. There are not many stars that represent themselves like she has now and since the Supremes. Many singers may make hits, but do not have this type of fluidity & grace in how they correspond in an interview. She is an asset to her country and her race.

iloveyou75204 Thank you, but you misunderstand. Tina Turner married a black who beat her black & blue; yet, she is also an asset to her race & country. Like Tina, Diana represent herself with grace, class, dignity, universal star power, strength, empowerment, intelligence, articulation, presence, poise, innovation etc. &has a distinct & trademarked talent. Correspondingly, Tina has later married a white man; yet, that does not change her greatness as a pioneer in her craft as Diana is a pioneer & asset in the industry for her country & race as a phenomenal Black-American image that popularized the music universally since the Supremes.

iloveyou75204 don't get it twisted.Diana is very much a credit to Black people internationally and particularity to African Americans. We love and treasure her, don't believe mainstream media. Sheisnot the only black woman to marry a white man and not the last. Due to slavery white men was taking black women so we are used to mixed folks in our culture.
@iloveyou75204
@iloveyou75204 10 жыл бұрын
AIKAN74 But Diana choose all white men to marry and have children with, and there's a reason for that. And this is why I say she wasn't proud of her race, maybe her country, but certainly not her race, because if she was, why wasn't a black guy good enough to marry and have children with? Huh? There's no way around it, so please stop now while you're ahead.

You should have seen what she so professionally "centered" herself on top of (in The Motown Master Bedroom Suite) in order to earn herself the lead on such Supremes classics as "Baby Love" and "Cum Pee About Me" . Her "centeredness" can be directly tied to her study and practice of an old ancient philosophy called SpreadEaglism , with it's origins and azzroots having developed from low class society

What I know about Ms.ross in going to her concerts she has always been on time , I love the fact that when going to a Diana Ross concert it starts on time and I've been to many sense 1976 and they all have started on time and I've been to many and most others have started late .this is classic Diana Ross interview ,what a beautiful lady and a wonderful interview thank you for posting this top rate interview

13:54 Is she ok? She didn't get married in 1980, she married in 1986, 6 years later. How could she mistake 1980 for 1986? She's only been married twice, in 1971 and 1986, so how could she say she married in 1980? :/ In January 1971, Ross married music executive Robert Ellis Silberstein. With Silberstein, Ross had two daughters, Tracee Joy and Chudney Lane Silberstein, born in 1972 and 1975, respectively. Ross and Silberstein divorced in 1977 and Ross relocated to New York in the early 1980s after years living in Los Angeles. Later, Ross met her second husband, Norwegian billionaire shipping magnate Arne Næss, Jr. in 1985 and married him the following year, later having boys Ross Arne and Evan Olav.

But the wizard of Oz alone is enough to put her far and long away somewhere over the fucking rainbow from Diane Ross. Yes I know that Judy Garland died of a drug overdose because her rotten mother (whom Judy hated) got her hooked on uppers and downers to keep her going to be able to work long hours when she was a child. If they only knew the track record of backstabbing, conning, conniving, deceit that she trails (THE SUPREMES) the questions from reporters and moderators would be quite different! "Rolling Stone Magazine" has been after her for a OPEN INTERVIEW for over 20 years, not the prearranged ones she usually grants, on which she dictates the question that can be asked and the topics she will not discuss! Very different than Diane not wanting to face her involvement in the shakedown of THE SUPREMES were the death of Florence Ballard, "FOUNDING MEMBER" of the group took place, "FOUNDING MEMBER", Mary Wilson displaced into her shadows & bookends with replacement Cindy Birdsong. Her manipulative use of the group 1966 to 1969 to ride their coattails into her 1969 "solo career". Her out of wedlock daughter (Rhonda) with Berry Gordy while married to Robert Silberstein that because of it ended in divorce.
