@And i Oop MonstaxBts Yah I miss when Vh1 was the like the go-to channel for pop culture. Now it's just the go-to channel for ratchetry and programs catering to black people. I'm not all the way mad at that though but I wish it was still music/pop-culture too. That channel is extremely watered down compared to what it used to be.

Seems like Janet has meant her match in me. My father was the one that was money driven. I'm trying really hard not to be like him. I like some of the traits of my father but other things about him were hard to take in. He wasn't abusive, he could just be a jackass sometimes. Arguing with my mother over things that weren't that big of a deal. He's part of the reason why I suffer from Anxiety now. A lot of worry. Sometimes it can be good to worry, other times not so much. My father could be cheap when it comes to money. Meaning sometimes if I would ask him for things, he would ask why when it wasn't even that expensive. That's why it surprised me when he got tickets for me to go see Janet. One Christmas I actually slimed down the price of my Christmas list because I didn't want him to overreact. I didn't hear things like I love you or where going to be alright. I would only hear that from my mom. So, when he got sick it kind of felt like an abandonment that wasn't under my control. Because I was telling him to stop smoking, he didn't want to listen to me, my mother or the doctors. So, that's the result. The human mind controls all things. Including our wants and needs.

Janet is definitely a mentally tough artist. It's not easy being in that family growing up being comfortable she couldv'e stayed that way because she was well provided. But surprisingly she was very determined to become her own artist and she succeeded. Not only did she create her own lane, but also opened the doors for other artists as well.
