Wow JFro! Great reaction. I haven't seen the star spangled banner performance before, thanks for sharing. So much to say hehehe. The half time show, only Miss Ross, the entrance through the hits to the exit, totally amazing. You are super lucky to be working at Motown with all those classic hits 😃 Hearing Reach out and touch here bought me back to when I first discovered the magic of Miss Ross back in '89. Of course I knew of her as a very young kid, my older siblings were always playing Diana around the home, but it wasn't until '89 when my sister bought tickets to see Diana at Wembley for the Workin' Overtime tour that I got mesmerized, I was amazed how this woman had 20.000+ people all on their feet holding hands and moving back and forth at her command (so to speak) for reach out and touch. 😱 Lol It was amazing. Since then I have been to every concert she has done in the UK that I could get to including the recent O2 and then the Royal Albert Hall which was fantastic. Workin' Overtime was the first album I bought by Diana, although it was a bit of a hit here in the UK it was bigger on the dance floors, this was at time when I was just about old enough to go clubbing and I remember the Paradise 12" being played and everyone dancing to it. As for Take Me Higher, that's still my jam too. The US extended mix especially. In fact my other half and I just bought a new car last week and to test the sound and bass we played that Take Me Higher mix 😂 I'm still shocked that Motown wasn't ready to release I Will Survive straight after the superbowl performance or at all in the USA. With the amazing video it should have been released there. It was a hit here in the UK at the time. I'm not sure if you have ever seen a UK show An Audience With Diana Ross from late 1999? Following her top 10 UK hit Not Over You Yet. She performs some classic hits and new songs in front of an audience of UK celebrities, I think it is on KZbin somewhere, but if you haven't seen it it's definitely worth checking out. Sorry I rambled on lol 😂 Thank you again for sharing.

I saw her live when I was young. The most generous and incredible talent. Amazing of course, fabulous gowns, etc.. but her relationship with the audience was amazing. (She was -is - a superstar and one of the top ones.) Now people throw that word around casually. No, in those days Ross was truly seen at that time as a superstar. (And I grew up on the Supremes.) Diva in the best earned way.

This one brings back a lot of good memories. BTW: The National Anthem was from the 1982 Super Bowl.

Pro tip: mute your mic if you are going to breathily lip sync to the songs… I love ya man but the whisper singing is creepy af. 😂🎉
