BG is one of the kindest players in the league. Doesn't surprise we one bit what she did. I know those who are just using Clark's name for their own agenda will keep doing what they do but hopefully the segment of the Clark fanbase that's been over the top with the anti-BG comments will follow Clark's lead and stop with the nonsense and the nasty name-calling.

I think the media created a false bad blood storyline about Caitlin and Diana. Diana said there would be an adjustment period in the pros and they turned into some kind of shady comment. …so I love her comments in the press conference, and was happy to see them smiling and laughing together at the half court line during a free throw. I hope we can put that hate the rookie storyline to bed now!

I think you are right - she seemed so defensive and nasty in her comments - I think Caitlin earned her respect today and I am happy that DT was so gracious in her remarks. She did seem much more respectful before the game today than she did a few days ago when she wouldn't even look at the reporter asking her about CC. I also hope moving forward that Caitlin's comment that nobody gives her advice may resonate with some of the veterans across the league who may recall being shown a little support when they were rookies. I don't expect anybody to be babied but this treatment has been just a bit excessive and quite a bit for a 22 year old even one as mature as Caitlin is. No special rules for her - just be a little fair.

No, it started with one interview where she just said her focus was on the sport and not politics (paraphrasing) . It’s been down hill since then. We look for special players, role models, and players that inspire. We want to see respectful women who are happy for each other and celebrate a new era in basketball. We don't like drama, big egos, and bullies. We want to see logo 3s, good pases, and awesome basketball. Let's hope they see that and focus on making better basketball.

Which was basically that Reality was coming because they wont be playing against 18 year olds they would be playing against grown woman who have played in the W for years. That there would be an adjustment period and some would get it faster than others. Guess what CC surely did not come into the league and start throwing up 35 & 40 points a game. Wanna know why she is now playing against grown woman not 18 year olds. She was leading the league in turnovers probably for the fact things are moving much faster in the W than they do in college. her 1st. half of the season was good not great. As a matter of fact I could say Edwards for Washington is having the best year out of all the rookies. just going my numbers and shooting percentages. I do believe as the second half of the season progresses CC numbers will improve also because she will have had half a season to adjust to the speed of the game. Diana not my favorite player but she will go down as one of the best to ever put on a uniform. I think it is more likely that DT saw turnout at her home arena for CC that she herself can't get. Phoenix averages 9100 a game, 17000 showed up tonight. And the cheering from DT's home crowd for CC. Its called reading the room. She knows she better start changing her tune. She took potshots commenting on ESPN with SVP, not to mention the condescending smirk that she had "won 3 'ships so she deserved to be on the Olympic team as a rookie, not CC". I mean, clearly she was dumping on CC. Obviously jealous of a rookie. Side note - those UConn teams would have won if DT wasn't on those teams while Iowa wasn't winning the Big10 tournament, much less going to the Final Four without CC...so not sure what the boast was meant to accomplish. Now Griner...I am inclined to think she is being sincere, and it is good to see her embracing a rookie and talking her up. DT and Griner just solved a lot of problems for Clark. They did not have to but they did. I think part of it is that CC has survived a difficult introduction to the league. Teams have given her hell and she still thrives. DT and Griner recognized all of that and it was a wonderful thing.

IMO, Sides is trying to minimize Caitlin with regards to the rest of the team. Sides wants to win, but if she can do it without Clark on the court, that appears to be her goal. Why else do you pull one of the best offensive and defensive players you have. Sides says she wanted to have the best defensive players on the court, but CC is that. It makes no sense. Unless it is, as I said.

About the only thing I got out of this was her saying 'You Know'. The rest was a bit hard to understand. I wish I knew, may be others do know what she was saying. Suppose to be the or a GOAT of the WNBA, age 42, went to college at least 4 years, been in interviews for decades, and what was clear she said was 'You Know'. I don't know how a person can clearly get this out having problems with the rest. I could have gotten a better response from a twelve-year-old.
