It's more often than not a woman thing, while they protest the so called "hate tweets" (when frequenting a cesspool, everything is relevant) they dislike even more being ignored. So that she has a feel of Euro basketball? I do not think that she will be beaten up in Europe like in W. Although she knows FIBA games, she hasn't played FIBA rules high level games for quite some time. Get the feel back will be fine. May be in 2026 she will lead teamUSA in FIBA World Cup. Judging from Paris Olympics final performance I do not think that teamUSA will send a team of U19 girls to 2026 FIBA World Cup. US folks will not be so arrogant.

Only one of two things can be true here, Robin. 1) It's really, really bad. 2) its conflated out of proportion. Stop giving yourself a disclaimer every video, hate has no place blah blah blah. You don't disclaimer yourself when you speak about the NBA, NFL, Formula 1 or any other league. You don't do it when you talk about wrestling ffs, a 'league' who actively seeks out people to hate. I have never heard any NBA player, or NFL player cry about this. What about the Euros in soccer? It's an art with them, they don't say mean tweets, they get 20k of their friends together and chant songs at the stadium. I mean, come on. There is no way, the level of comments are nearly as bad as they are making it out to be. They are just not accustomed to being a public figure. Even if it was as bad as you and everyone else is making it out to be... here's a thought... Perhaps if the league were more accepting the pushback from fans would not be what it is.

I agree the Liberty/Aces may have good rating, bigger than they are used to, but not great. The finals may even draw a million. But I think the bulk of the rest of this years playoffs will be in the 500k range. Your statement that wnba fan base is huge now is false. The newfound popularity will fall off dramatically. The only way it doesn’t is with spin doctors spinning false storylines and hiding bad ratings to doctor the narrative. Like they did in Olympics. People want to see a train wreck! But even that after a while looses its appeal. The hate and obvious lack of integrity in the game are a big turn off for most. WWE was huge for a while. Its luster faded. People will get fed up seeing the illegitimate games that still allow wagering even though they are obviously tilted in favor of one team most of the time. This has the appearance of a league headed for legal issues and congressional appearances over racketeering charges.
