She was and still is a global icon. So sad that all she wanted was love and acceptance in her personal life but never found her true Prince Charming, only frogs. I get it, she wasn't perfect either and had her foibles and faults, but that's what made her so real and relateable to the common person. People will be talking about her 500 years from now, like they still do Anne Boleyn or Queen Elizabeth 1. Camilla will just be a fleeting glimpse and mostly forgotten but Diana will live on! I just hope wherever she is at now, Diana is at peace.

@@clearsky4003 hun I have been in Diana’s shoes minus the Royal life , and I left and you know what I was so heartbroken and mad and I blamed him for everything. I was very very good to him. and to be quite honest, she treated him like crap and like Diana even though I knew it was happening I chose to stay and I could not work out for the life of me why he would do what he done then one day I had no option but to walk away, I was devastated and angry and blamed him then one time I saw the both of them in public and I could see how happy he was, and he had a certain level of happiness on his face that he never had when he was with me there, and then I realise the power of letting go, just because someone looks good on paper, doesn’t mean it’s the person you wants. The heart belongs to who it belongs to, and though it was upsetting, it didn’t belong to me. I couldn’t blame him for where it did belong . but even though I knew he was messing around, I did not do it myself because two wrongs do not make a right and I can’t judge him for his foul behaviour if I then go and act the same . If you stay with a cheater becoming them won’t make you better or even it makes you as bad as they were .

Amazing kind and gentle Lady it is such a shame that she passed away so young leaving behind the two princes her son's. Can you imagine what a fantastic Grandmother she would of made. The truth about her untimely death will come out one day.

Diana raising her sons as "normal" as she possibly could was the best move. She wanted them to be able to relate to most people, be humble, grateful, considerate, and more. She also wanted them to just be kids and not little adults. I can only imagine how traumatic her death was for her sons. To go from having her love, warmth, and guidance to just the support of the royal family, who were nowhere near as affectionate and mindful of them as kids, had to be very difficult.

Although I think she was initially shy and gauche she blossomed into someone who displayed great kindness and had a natural ability to empathize with people. She referred to get por GCSE results for which I believe she was ridiculed about but she had talents which no exam or study could provide. Her attitude towards those people with HIV and homeless people was legendary. The Royal Family ought to have viewed her as an asset and cherished her.

Diana was just a vain woman who used her given platform for Drama acting. She wanted Charles to be a henpecked husband without understanding his role in the British Crown which is part of the British constitution. He is not any ordinary husband to be in her beck and call. No man would have tolerated her behaviour if they were married to her. It would have ended up in divorce anyway. There were many girls married at 16+ have raised better families with dedication and Diana at 19 is quiet matured for marriage if she was brought up with responsibilities. The fault lies with her upbringing not with the Royal family.

Diana did not behave wisely. She had multiple affairs and that sealed her fate. She should have behaved better when she had two sons who had to be in the public domain. A responsible mother should know better than get carried away the way she did. Taking revenge and competing with her husband for popularity is not the way forward.
@akimbz9622
@akimbz9622 7 ай бұрын
@Wisdom.100 so charles having affairs before her just means nothing? She didn't hide hers either. From my understanding she was trying to get a divorce that was denied to her time and time again. Public opinion on the scandals of other human beings mean nothing. Who cares what we all think about how it looked. Look at what was happening from the mouths of the people involved then form your opinion but understand your opinion won't change reality. She was a child she acted as such, she was not well mentally and she vocalized that and was ignored and shut in and made a spectacle of. When she didn't ask for it. You can't blame her for things that were going on long before she came into the picture.

You'd think her education was her biggest accomplihment. Although her sincere(shyness), natural and friendly ways around others is truly remarkable.. It's a shame I didn't a get an opportunity to see the essence of the person she was, and only focused on what they televised on T.V. shows or social networks mainly about her private life.. Once you do see the cleverness and sense of humor you notice stands out even more than her royalty profile. Interesting that the white car that appeared to hit the Diana was in was dismissed. Yet witnesses said the driver of the white car told them he was in the tunnel and he had his car fixed after the accident. I think authorities were told to ignore some facts. Yes, Charles told her he still loved Camilla before their wedding - but she still wanted to go through with it because she thought the Queen would never allow a divorce! The divorce of her parents ruined her & her mother leaving her was something she never got over!

@Ms. Dana she was so young. They used that to their advantage. They should have left her alone. Charles should have found someone closer to his age with similar interests if Camilla was out of the picture. Or just grow a pair like Queen Elizabeth's uncle and marry the woman he loved!

@Glen it's not silly. Diana should have been left to find her own path. The marriage to Charles should never have taken place. They weren't well suited, over a decade in age different. They didn't have the same interests at all. To top it off, Charles was in love with someone else before he even considered Diana. Now, who's being silly?

I don't think even the Queen's funeral had this impact, this massive display of general pain and grieving, this many people. I was like 10 when this happened but I remember how everyone was just so shocked. And I'm not even British.

It was a terrible day for the world when Princess Diana was taken from us. She didn’t deserve the treatment that she got from the royal family. She just didn’t, and, especially the treatment from Charles terrible thing to do to the woman that gave him his sons. I cannot forgive him for the way he treated her he was just wised up in that adulterous as for the accident. Yes I think there’s something very strange it doesn’t add up some things off about it.

I think Charles loved Diana, you can't help but love someone as bright and beautiful as Diana, but he didn't expect her to stand firm and contradict him. He didn't even think that this young girl would demand fidelity in marriage and in love in an unwavering way. Charles is a prince, from birth he is used to getting everything he wants, in love with himself. And a very narcissistic personality. He could not understand Diana, for which, of course, his dalliances with other women greatly interfered, and the most of all is to blame, of course, Camilla. Cunning schemer Camila.
